I've successfully hatched approximately 50 chicks with this incubator and am gearing up for another round. I got this I can do better to add to my ever-growing collection of little baby chicks. I found the mechanisms easy to use and appreciate how direct the view is the ex. The light on top is an extra bonus. I got all of my previous incubators have it, making it an extra bonus. The temperature control as well as the automatic egg turning is also great! My dad has a little hobby of raising chicken so I bought him this as a gift. He's so excited to start using it. He's still deciding on what kind of bird he's gonna try to hatch but the product it's self seems very straight forward to use and durable. Overall, great gift for a bird lover.
