This shirt is very nice quality. It's soft and very comfortable. I normally wear a size Large so that's what I purchased, but after washing a couple times it has shrunk. The sleeves now come about halfway down my forearms so as others have stated, it's probably a good idea to get one size up. I'll probably order a couple more at size XL. ... show more

I’m personally a fan of stripped patterned shirts, and when I came across this specific shirt, I simply couldn’t resist. The price was fairly reasonable, although, I wish I waited a little longer so I could’ve gotten it on sale. The shirt was slightly big, but after washing it, it was the perfect size. The shrinkage really isn’t that significant, and didn’t affect the overall size of the shirt. The quality and overall design of the shirt is great. I’m glad it’s 100% cotton, you could tell the material was comfortable, and looked good. The stripes were all even, and the color looks appealing. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the make of this shirt, and I’ll likely buy another in the future ... show more

Item was soft cotton and the color was accurate. IMO this is a medium weight tshirt that has a relaxed fit. I love that the sleeves are hemmed not cuffed. Three stars is because of how incredibly much it shrank in a cool wash with delicate dry. I'm 5'7" and when I bend to pick something up my lower back is exposed because it's so short. Sleeves shrunk a lot in length too. Disappointing in what would otherwise be a fantastic, comfy tshirt. Buy one size larger, wash in cold and air dry if you buy one. ... show more

I ordered this in a large along with a Hanes brand in a medium to do a side by side comparison. Both were worn for a time before wash (the Amazon Essentials for several days, the Hanes for two or three). I'm a sliver under 5'7" and approx @ time of review 148lbs. The Amazon Essentials was slightly big on me out of the bag, as I expected, but I'd been uncertain about shrinkage and my default is to get large. Normally I like these kind of shirts more loose than tight. The Amazon essentials was at a size that was literally on the line of "almost too big for me" and "I could live with this for sleeping purposes and around the house" Fortunately it did shrink in length in the sleeves and at the waist where it really fits close to perfectly (still loose, but the visual would be difficult to pin as 'too big'). I have the ever so slightest of fabric bunching at the chest along the where the top of the sleeves meet, but as I stated, it's almost unnoticeable (really only by my attentive eye) and overall the shirt fits comfortably and appears to be well stitched with good quality material. There was not color fade that I could detect (dark navy) and I did dry it on a hot (not delicate material) setting in the dryer. It states it was made in Vietnam, if that is of interest. I will order another after finishing this review. As a side note in comparison, the Hanes I ordered was only available in a medium (which worried me) and out of the bag was tighter than i normally like (not skin tight, but tight for a person who likes their clothes slightly loose fitting. Fortunately after washing and drying there was almost no shrinkage (it's a 60-40 blend) and absolutely zero color-fade. Although it was slightly more snug, the material and stitching was well done to the extent I could do the backhand internal stretch technique carefully (hand and arm under shirt while wearing it, push out at chest and various areas slowly and carefully with back of hand). I can tell the tightness would be more beneficial for the cooler nights we get here in the south during the winter and would be sufficient to wear with or without a light hoodie or jacket. I'd say the quality side by side is almost identical, with the Hanes only slightly ahead due to deep color and perhaps slightly better material and was only under $8.00 u.s.d at another WeLL known MART with a strong online presence. Finally; the MAIN description I am reading above my review and on the main page does not mention it having a pocket, but it does (as mentioned in the detail description) just in case someone might overlook it. ... show more
