Solid and heavy. Will be a nice addition to my family camping rig. With it being so heavy it's going to be dinged up in the shipping process. To fix the problem just coat it with black paint befor install. I painted it all over just in case I missed a spot. There was a small fitment issue partly because I installed it closer to the front. Jeep xj's have a slight slope to the front. I needed it to the front for a small rack to hold my firewood in the rear. In summary, it's a cheap and heavy rack for fractions of the cost. So I'm minor shipping or fitment issues and be over looked for the price. If your handy with tool and know how to work on your jeep it's a nice addition for the price. ... show more

Pros: fits my 2 door xj very nicely. Easy to assemble. Way more solid than I expected for the price and being an unknown brand. Cons: Arrived with a bit of chipping in the finish, probably from shipping. No real instructions.

Expect to remove paint from the threads. Mine came with missing paint in the inside. It’s an extremely tight fitting but will work. Overall I give it a 3 star just because I had to rethread all the holes.. use wd40.. iv stripped 2 holes… took my time.. good luck!
