Because of the price, I was worried that the quality would't be there. We went ahead with it, because we're hoping to renovate the kitchen eventually ... if we love the faucet, we'll keep it. If not, it will tide us over. Happily, it has been impressive so far. I'll update if anything changes. The design is thoughtful; the build quality is solid; the temperature cartridge seems as good as any; the finish is perfect. And, unlike some faucets, it was designed to be very easy to install. The mounting nut is solid brass, and has a couple of screws that let you do the final tightening with a screwdriver—something you can easily fit into the tight space between the underside of the sink and the wall. The hoses and connectors seem like good quality. I like to spend as little time as possible crawling around under a sink, and Kraus has made my life easier than they might have. The hose extension works smoothly. The spray button is designed to reset on its own to regular flow. A nice touch. My only complaint is that the spray head itself is made out of plastic, not the confidence-inspiring plated brass of the rest of the faucet. But it's good quality plastic (ABS) that probably won't break. And Kraus seems to be a real company with customer service and parts availability, so if something breaks you should be ok. Finally, it looks great. Like a classy version of the sprayer you'd use to powerwash a mountain of pans in the dungeon a of restaurant. First of all, this was a huge improvement over my previous standard kitchen faucet. The pull down hose works great, and it's just the right height and distance from the edge to reach the whole sink without splashing everywhere. It looks great, EXCEPT there's a slight 'kink' in the part that extends upward from the base - it just pitches forward the tiniest bit. It's not noticeable at a glance but once you do see it, it will be obvious. I emailed Kraus and they said it was part of the design, which is bizarre, but they did offer to replace it if I wanted (I didn't, since apparently they are all like this). Another oddity is that the supply hoses are oriented such that 'hot' is when the valve is pointed downwards and 'cold' is when it's pointed upwards. According to the manual, this is again by design, but to me it is unusual and counterintuitive. Not a big deal, I just connected the supply lines to the opposite valve under the sink. These things aside, I love it and would totally buy again. ... show more

The complaint is the cheap gaskets they provide for the supply hoses. Most hoses for connecting to the water supply have a built-in gasket. This faucet has some cheap gasket/screens that are not part of the actual hoses. One of the gaskets was damaged and leaked. I look for the gasket replacement at numerous hardware stores but no one had the correct size. I ended up making a gasket that fortunately works but if you don't have the proper tools, this would be difficult. Why not have a better hose with the gaskets part of the hose assembly like most supply hoses for faucets. ... show more

Purchased to replace a leaking faucet and was easy to install and came with all parts needed to attach to existing water lines. The sprayer hose is a little clunky as you have to make sure the weight at the bottom of the hose line as enough space under the sink to move freely without getting caught on anything. I already own this faucet in stainless steel in my own kitchen and I love it. We've had it for 2 years and it's perfect. So, when I had to buy another faucet for a new kitchen renovation project I went to the one I already know and love, but this time bought it in brushed gold. It is gorgeous! It blends very nicely with my Amerdeco brushed gold and brushed brass pulls that I also purchased on Amazon (I have both colors and they are exactly the same).
