I looked for a new kitchen for far longer than I’m proud of. I wanted stainless and spot resistant. My husband requested a “lunch lady faucet” so that narrowed it down to ya know, 172773 faucets. Anyway. I settled on this one and I’m beyond pleased. I had purchased a high end faucet from a local store originally and touched it once and knew it was going back. This faucet LOOKS and FEELS nicer than the one I purchased that was 2x the price. I love that the temp lever is short Bc we have a window sill behind it. The temp lever goes the opposite direction than our old one (closer to you is hot with the kraus) but that is no big deal. Water pressure is next level. It actually sprays hard enough to blow gunk off your plates and fills the sink in half the time our old faucet did. A plumber installed ours so I can’t speak to ease of install, but it looks beautiful and functions exactly as I hoped. As others have mentioned, the hose can’t just hang in the sink, it has to be in the holder or else it’ll spring up and soak your shirt. This only happened Bc my toddler was playing with it. I purchased the faucet/water filter faucet combo two years ago with one of their sinks. It's sturdy and I love the finish as it is easy to clean and doesn't show spots, fingerprints, etc. Sink is holding up well too. I did have to have one faucet part replaced in the first year. They sent it promptly and at no charge. Fast forward to year two. I need a new faucet head. This piece of the faucet, as others have noted, is plastic. Why? This part is not holding up and is leaking and the finish is coming off of the plastic. I called for a replacement, which I assumed would be under warranty. Not. Most faucet manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty. Not here. And, if you do need something replaced that is under warranty after year one you will need to provide the original receipt AND pay for shipping (options start at $15 and up). The plastic faucet head is not covered under warranty at all after one year, and I had to pay for it, as well as shipping. $15 and $15. Really? ... show more

I’ve had this faucet less than 9 months and this thing now leaks like crazy when the water is turned on OR off. It is leaking out of the tip when the water is off AND the valve area where the faucet head articulates when the water is on. For a faucet this expensive, you’d at least hope it lasts a few years. I’ve tried reaching out to Kraus directly but gotten crickets. Super frustrating as it was part of a full kitchen remodel installed professionally. ... show more

    • Good value, but not the highest quality filter spout

Purchased this faucet as an inexpensive repair on the recommendation of a real estate agent. It served the purpose that my agent desired - was easy to install and it looked good. For the most part, everything works well on it, it has smooth operating ceramic valves and a good finish. My one and large annoyance with this faucet is that the tip of the drinking water spout is ill-designed. Water streams straight out of this spout only when the valve is opened fully. When the valve is at 1/2 or 1/4 open or less the square taper at the end of the tip catches too much surface tension of the water and the flow bends sideways, often in some random direction. It generally bends enough that it will hit the rim or spill beyond your drinking glass and often bend enough to miss the sink basin entirely. Not what you want in a purified water spout, it takes all the joy out of filling your glass when you have to clean the outside of your glass and the flat surfaces beyond. It’s very frustrating when an otherwise pleasurable water spout squirts sideways as the stream is just starting out or tapering off. Takes all the fun out of it. I did a ton of research on many faucets like these and I’m so glad I went with the Kraus! It’s so nice, the handle feels really nice and sturdy, and it stretches really well. I used to have the kind where the hose went back in the faucet with a magnet so this kind took some getting used to, but we’ve had it 3 or 4 weeks now and I love it! The filter faucet works great. I have nothing bad to say about it! Our plumber installed it so I have no advice on that but he didn’t mention any problems with it. ... show more
