The assembly was easy, despite some of the other comments, you're basically assembling it upside down but what you need to do is barely put on the screws. Leave them very loose. Then you flip it over on it's correct positioning and make sure it's leveled with the floor while screws are still loose (give it a shake and press down and make sure all 4 legs are touching the floor). Then you tighten the 3 support brackets first (one side at time). After that, you tighten the piece connected to the fabric, I tightened that slowly since you're stretching the fabric for the first time. I bought 4 chairs and 2 end tables (see photo). It took a while due to the tedious hand tightening of each screw with the provided wrench. But all 4 fit perfectly into each hole and was leveled after assembly. If people are commenting saying the screws don't fit into the prefabricated holes, then it's human install error (don't tighten them right away!). I previously had 2 year old metal chaise lounge and they rusted at the legs really bad and left rust stains on my deck. So glad I got these aluminum frame and sleek/modern design and won't have to worry about rust and cleaning rust stains on the deck. I initially saw these at a resort we were staying at and saw the tag at the back, so I researched on Amazon and found them. I like how your legs are down too, and not straight flat like some other chaise lounge chairs. These are really comfy to relax on. Hope these helps! ... show more

I was a little leary about ordering these chairs based on some mixed reviews. I'm hoping my experience clears a few things up. First, I went into this purchase expecting horrible instructions and a terrible assembly process. With those expectations and armed with years of previous assembly experience I was pleasently surprised. Yes, all the hardware will come in two bags (1 for each chair) with no identifying info besides a poor chart of parts on the front page of the instructions. But, once you organize your hardware into like piles, you'll find there are only 2 different length bolts, a pile of washers, and few nuts. So, even with poor instructions (and I've seen worse) it's not hard to figure out what goes where. One piece of advice the instructions give which is very helpful, is to NOT tighten anything down. If you do, the remaining assembly becomes much more difficult. Leave all the hardware very loose upon initial assembly and you'll find the whole process fairly easy. First chair took me 20 minutes. 2nd chair 10 minutes. Table 5 minutes. The chair is modern, stylish, low to the ground, and very comfortable. The aluminum frame makes them both sturdy and lightweight, which is a nice combination. I find then very easy to move around based on whether i want sun or shade. I could see anyone with a wider frame body or anyone who has a hard time getting up from a low slung position not liking these chairs as much as i do. My wife and i are in our 40s and both in good physical condition, so these chairs give us no problems getting in or out of them. The biggest complaint about this chair is the assembly. It is time consuming, but not overly difficult. Keep all of the screws really loose. When it comes to the screws that connect the fabric frame to the leg frames, get the screws properly started, but don't tighten them until all screws are connected. My biggest concern is the paint. It scratches easily and exposes the bare aluminum below it. Be extra careful when assembling. ... show more

I bought this I would say around May of 2023. I had just gotten a new pool in our yard. These are not cheap chairs. Within a couple of months they were all dotted with dirt or what look like mold maybe. My husband pressure washed them, but it would not all come out. He has done that twice now. They are worse than ever. I bought a couple of chairs from Walmart for much money that have held up beautifully. I just wish I had returned them a lot earlier. For all weather chairs they fair very poorly. They are also very hard to get in and out of. I am a big Amazon buyer and this is the first item I have ever complained about. ... show more

Delivery was very quick, the product upon assembly appears to be of good quality, especially considering the price point. The chairs are sturdy but still light enough to take in and out of the pool. 3 assembly comments 1) in the instructions, I would strongly suggest completing step 3 before step 2. It will leave you with a lot less frustration because even with the bolts being loose from step 2, it is too much tension and makes step 3 difficult. 2) Purple Leaf should add a plastic film on the chair arms. I assembled these chairs on the cardboard box but during the process, I scuffed the arms. Not a big deal but probably should have at least used a blanket. 3) Purple Leaf should add a disposable ratchet to the set, I have a ratchet set but if you don't, the little wrenches will make you unhappy Overall though, my wife is happy with the set so I guess Ii am as well ... show more
