Very small and used for small applications. After having this for over a year, I decided I needed to go bigger. But I still use this for smaller applications because of how easy it is to use. So great for 1-2 weeds here or there, Lighting the BBQ and really upsetting the ants.

I am comparing this to spraying weeds instead. Pros Lightweight, easy to use. The light button worked very well Likely more thorough, and weeds won't come back Works very well for those hard-to-get weeds in the driveway seams Likely more effective in shady areas Much more fun! Cons It takes longer, you have to hit each weed individually. And it can take up to a couple of seconds to get some weeds (in my case, grass clumps) I had some grass clumps (likely winter rye seeds) growing in rocks (desert landscape). This left a burnt clump. I'll likely just rake the rocks and it should go away. Not good to use where there are remaining dried leaves or pine needles (would need to rake these areas first). It was easier to use this in the shade so I could see the flame. At first, I think I was holding it too close to the ground. I wouldn't want one with more BTU's. Too much of a fire risk, in my opinion. I definitely did not want to use this under my pine tree unless I had thoroughly raked and removed the pine needles to prevent a fire hazard.

I'm so glad my friend told me about this little simple handheld weed burner because I absolutely love to burn the borrow pits, and I always had to try to use the great big one that pulled behind my pickup, and this is so handy, and has enough power that it spreads the fire to the even the hardest stemmed thistle. It is very lightweight and so easy to use! The little cylinders of gas lasts a very long time. I'm so pleased with this!

Received well packaged in excellent shape. Burner is just as described, easy to follow directions. 1lb bottle attached easily. Comfortable to handle. Used to light large burn pile of garden and lawn refuse and it made maintaining a hot, controlled fire much easier. Good product.
