What a great machine! It is simple, On, Off, Clean cycle, and a timer can be set. I rinsed out the main machine and washed the basket, scoop, and lid and plugged it in. It had already been sitting upright for a few days. I am pleased how quickly it makes ice. Didn't time it, but there was a nice heap of ice after at about 15 minutes. I wish there was an external water window so I don't have to pull out full basket to check water level. And a small suction cup with hook to hand the scoop would be nice. I am definitely pleased with this purchase.

The wife loves it. She’s very picky on her ice and she loves the machine. Only downside is it’s extremely loud. I’m not sure how loud it is compared to other makes or models but this one to me is excessive. Poor insulation and constant need to run also. Other than that it’s a good ice maker.

I've had bullet ice makers and was never really happy with the ice. This nugget ice is perfect - just the right smaill size and crunch. I was extremely pleased to see the and use the finished product. BTW, it is a bit noisy but all ice machines are.

It DOES make nugget ice BUT it DOES NOT make nugget ice like the ones from typical fast food places that have nugget ice like SONIC, RAISIN CANES, etc. It is slightly loud-ish, sounds like a mini fan honestly. But not annoyingly loud to the point where you want to put it in another room. BUT! The ice is still amazing, soft and makes it very fast. I would definitely recommend and buy again as a gift.

I do like the product. It was very easy to set up. Love the self cleaning! The only draw back is that the ice stacks up on the side it dispenses on and then thinks it's full. Also, ice gets stuck and frozen by the bar where it dispenses, so I have to move it and chip it out so the new ice pieces can come out and it won't think it's full. It is a little noisy when it's making the ice, but it doesn't do that all the time. I notice a different taste just depending on what water is used to full it. I don't think that had anything to do with the machine itself.
