My headline says it all. It actually grabs -> punctures -> holds -> AND completely encirbles and cuts away can lids. What the heck is so hard that other can openers cannot to ^that^. This can opener is well made. The quality of stainless steel is great and heavy. The blade is sharper. I had the automated one (different brand) before, and it made a lot trouble for opening cans. Now I am so happy for purchasing this new one.

These are built for the long haul. Has stayed sharp, easy to turn, handles won't bend, easy to clean. Hasn't slipped on one can yet, only thing that could beat it would be a Victorinox swiss army knife.
