The handles of this cookware set are not the most polished, a little rough on some edges, but mostly smooth and resistant to heat as long as not put the handles above the heating section. The two cooking utensils has some rough edges as well but they have a weight and thickness to it so it’s not bendy or low quality. Heat contributes pretty evenly for all the pots and pans, but do wanna point out that the wok pops up a little in the middle which makes oil go to the sides during preheat. Only the wok does not have lid in this set, which in my opinion it would be better for the wok to have a lid as well. In general this set is more heavy than my previously owned nonstick set, but not to the point that’s too much for my small wrists. And its nonstick function works well and as described. I was so happy to find this kitchen set for my new home. The look of them is very luxurious and I really love the wooden hardware. I have an electric stovetop and I did notice that the water in the pot took a bit longer than usual to boil, so that it why I am giving it only 4 stars. This set of pots and pans are made very nicely. They have the heavy-duty and weight to them that makes them feel nice. I love the texture of the pans and well as the handles on them and the lids also. The handles feel very smooth and looks like wood but,it's not. They heat up evenly but it did take a few minutes to get the water boiling for me. Most pans come with lids. 2 don't but one of the lids from the other pot does fit it and the large frying pan doesn't have a lid that fits at all. They also included a spoon and spatula made of rubber with this set. It was buried in the box and I almost missed them. This is a bit expensive but,worth it. They work great and cook e evenly,and tge pans clean up easily. This is a great buy. ... show more

I need some time to cook with these, so for now, these are my "unboxing" impressions. First off, these are gorgeous. I'm a sucker for hand hammering. The bakelite handles on the pans are very wide at the base, which gives them a distinctive look, and the handles on the lids are assymetrical for better grip. It's a sharp looking set. If I didn't need new pans I might keep these for display! Side note: initially I threw the slotted spoon & spatula to the side. Everyone knows the throw ins that come with these sets are always that hard plastic garbage, right? I took a look at them later and they're actually soft silicone and not half bad. So that tells me a lot about the company. I'm hopeful that these will cook as well as they look. For now I'm more than happy with the set. ... show more

    • My wife thinks these pots and pans live up to all of the vendor’s claims. She likes them.
My wife likes them! Literally everything about them. She likes the weight of each pot and pan. She says they are truly non-stick (and she was careful to follow the vendor’s instructions for “seasoning” them). She likes the glass lids and the handles. And she says they’re easy to clean. Literally everything the vendor claims, which of course, makes me happy. Pleasing her always makes me happy. They’re well made and seem very sturdy and durable. As I said, my wife thinks that every claim made by the vendor for these pots and pans is accurate. And, knowing her, that’s one heck of an endorsement. Jerry ... show more

This set looks great, is easy to clean, and food doesn't stick. The handles are attached securely, The frying pans are deep, which I really appreciate. All-in-all an excellent set.

I love this pot and pan set. They are truly non stick. I hate when the description says that a pan is non stick but when I end up cooking with them, they clearly are not non stick. These are. They are also so easy to wash. I love the hammered look to them and the handle is a nice darker wood color that matches my utensils. They have a nice weight to them.
