Someone at Sally’s recommended getting clear semi permanent dye to seal in the color and I haven’t noticed a difference? But smells nice and is easy to apply

I tried the dusty rose color a month ago. I figured for the price, it wouldn't hurt. The bottle is a good size for someone who has thick hair, which is great. The hair dye smells clean, however I find it watery, so if you try it, be careful. The dusty rose color wasn't pretty once I washed and dried my hair. The color also didn't last very long. Give it at least 3 days. I also find the hair color dried my hair out more than moisturized it. For $5.99, it's not bad to experiment with the hair colors if you're unsure what to do with your hair. But you might have the same problems as me and have dry dull colored hair. ... show more

After a deep conditioning I use a clear rinse to seal in the moisture. I do this every 6-8 weeks. For my hair it provides the shine that I was seeking.
