This takes me back in time to when I was a kid in grade school, where they had the heat radiators along the walls of the class room, which worked very well. Was hesitant at first to get one of these since a friend has one, and about ten years ago he told me they give off a smell, but improvements are made and there is no problem with any smell coming from this unit. I live in a fairly warm climate but it does get down to freezing at night, but not much lower. The small place I bought a couple years ago has an Ac & Heating system that is going on twenty years old and needs to be replaced. The A/C worked fine when I moved in but the neat not at all. But it wasn't a big deal since it's a small place, only 600 - 700 square feet, so during the winter I can easily get by with a space heater, and turn on the kitchen oven if needed. Plus I have a water distiller that also gives out a little heat and doubles as a humidifier. But the space heater I've been using is the ceramic type with heating coils, which can be dangerous if you don't keep an eye on them. That space heater has a timer for 1, 2, 3 & 4 hours, but I never used it more than an hour at a time, and always ran it on low due to the dangers. This oil filled unit is much safer and can be safely run 24/7. It will easily heat a small space like mine with no problem. I plan on getting a lot of use out of this unit in the future, even though I'm going to replace my HVAC. The newer HVAC units are more energy efficient, but I'm sure I can save even more money in the winters by using this radiator unit. It's 1500 watts on high, about half that on medium and so on, and keeps my small place comfortable on just medium. It's a very nice improvement over what I've been using the past two winters. The description page shows the unit uses both radiator and fan but there is no fan, doesn't matter, doesn't need one, but you can use a room fan to circulate the heat a bit.

This oil-filled radiator heater works great and it throws off the heat. With this Polar Vortex blast of frigid temps, I wanted this heater for our living room, which is the largest room in our house. The upstairs rooms are piping hot while the downstairs is cold, so this radiator heater works perfectly so we don't have to run our HVAC system to heat the whole house, just the room we're in. I have an older oil-filled radiator space heater that we bought 30 years ago and it still works great, but we have to keep that one in our downstairs half-bathroom to prevent freezing pipes. I wanted another one and this product does not disappoint. I highly recommend it.

I live on the water in a concrete home built in the 40s and with the extreme cold weather the first floor holds the cold temp, while upstairs was HOT! A friend suggested getting two of these oil filled radiators and that was the BEST advice! I keep both on low (only 600sf) on first floor, then when the heat comes on, it's perfect and doesn't overheat the 2nd floor! Great product!!

I bought this heater, like many, when it was on sale. I saw so many great reviews. Well, I received it and it worked well for two months. Then the cheap plastic nob on the thermostat broke internally. Luckily, it broke in the full power setting. Annoying, but whatever. Two weeks later, the radiator stopped working completely. The light still comes on but no heat. I reached out to the maker. They sent me to a third party seller whose emails were coming from China. First they denied it. Then they said I had to send a video. Of a non-working heater? They were delaying. Then they said they would consult their engineers. Then they said th engineers suggested I wasn't letting it warm up long enough, which is silly because it is plugged in for hours at a time with no heat. At this point I have exchanged five emails with them and they are showing no interest in honoring the one year warranty. Don't believe the cheap price. It is indeed shoddy manufacturing. And their customer serive is not helpful. And they don't stand by their warranty. Learn from my mistake and choose something else. Edit: Since posting this review, the seller has contacted me and asked me to directly give them my personal contact information including phone number. The Amazon chat window specifically says to never give personally identifying information to sellers via that chat window. They already have the order number. I wish they would just complete the refund so I could get on with my life. I have put so much time into trying to resolve this by following their instructions already. It's just delay after delay.
