I love it! I been using it a couple of times to make ice and freeze it. The noise is not even bad either and it has been reliable. The self cleaning is another plus which I have not used it yet but after im done using it I disconnect it and I open the cap that is in the bottom and leave the top open so it can dry out. That part I thought I would hate was to drain it each time but its not bad draining it out after im done making ice since the cap is right in the bottom front. It says its best to use drinking water so I poor two bottles for each batch which I made 3 batches and its lasted me for a week now so it depends how much you use ice and the bottle of water works really good but im thinking of buying a gallon water but i will see because the water taste good and it takes longer to melt not sure if its because its drinking water but its really good. It does take a little to produce a lot of ice and don’t think its not going to melt since its not a freezer basket so I try to dump the basket into my ice bag each time its done and put it into the freezer right away until my next batch is ready. But im really happy with it so far no issues so I hope it lasts me for a long time. This will help when I have parties drinking margaritas, soda or ice coffee with nice little nuggets that are nice to chew they are not super soft but good enough to chew. There were others that I was looking at but you had to use some things to wash it and this one it says to just clean it with water and white vinegar so I thought this one was better for me. I also like that it stops if nuggets get stuck or full so you have to make sure you remove the ice and it automatically start again. I also like that if its out of water it triggers the add water light so you know to add more water. I’m super happy with it 🥰. I didn’t add a picture since there is plenty of pictures in here and its exactly how people describe it. One thing that I did read is not to leave the water without draining it since old water sitting there could cause to taste nasty so that’s why I decided to just drain it out when not in use. Hopefully I added everything here to help you decide which one is best for you.

This is the best ice maker. It makes a continuous hum but it’s light and becomes background noise. The ice is a perfect crunch like sonic or Chick-fil-A. The machine goes into a sleep state when the ice tray is full or the water runs out. I use it every day and love crunch ice.

So far so good. I let it set on the counter for an hour. Cleaned it up. And let it run. I started getting ice pretty quickly. The ice slowly melts back into the water chamber which remakes ice cubes. It’s continuous. No slush. Just tiny cubed ice. Similar to chick fil a, but cubed, so slightly different: It’s small. Sits on my counter and in my camper when we need it so easy portability is good. I’ll edit if anything changes.

This ice maker makes a lot of ice, providing you keep it emptied and the revivor filled up. It replaces mu old ice maker that quit. It held a bottle of water so keeping it filled was less of a hassle. This one makes small nugget ice cubes and are easy to chew, but still stay frozen and cold in my water bottle, it also takes up less space. It makes ice fast so you don't have to wait long for a glass of ice.

I really enjoy this ice machine! My previous ice machine stopped working and I had to look for a replacement. I looked locally but was unable to find the right one I was hoping for. When I found this one on amazon it had all the qualifications I was looking for! It came the day after I ordered it! The ice nuggets are the right size for a glass filled with ice! I tested this ice maker thoroughly in a real-life home setting, including continuous production, full basket capacity, melt testing, and day-to-day usability—and overall, it performs well with a few important quirks to know about. ❄️ Fast Start + Easy Setup There’s essentially no setup required. Just plug it in, add water, and press the button—it starts producing ice right away. No waiting period, no complicated controls. 🧊 Ice Production (Real Use) This machine produces ice quickly and consistently, but there’s one big behavior to be aware of: It does not stop or redirect ice as the basket fills. Ice piles up directly under the dispenser and forms a mound. Eventually, this can block new ice from dropping properly. ⚠️ Important: There are no alerts, sounds, or indicators that this is happening—you have to physically check it. 🧊 “Ice Moat Method” (My Workaround) I found a simple fix that made a huge difference: Instead of keeping the ice flat, I pushed it outward to create a moat shape—lower in the center, higher on the sides. This: •Keeps the drop zone clear •Reduces how often you need to intervene •Allows the machine to continue producing longer without interruption I included photos of this setup because it noticeably improved performance. 🧊 Full Basket Test I ran the machine continuously until the basket completely filled (Started at 9:00 am + finished at 11:50 AM). Results: •Ice remained fully formed and solid, even at the bottom of the basket •No premature melting inside the machine •Consistent cube size and shape throughout •The ice is slightly wet on the outside due to water cycling, which is normal for this style of ice maker ❄️ Melt Test (Real-Time) I wanted to see how long the ice actually lasts, so I ran a timed test: •Room temp: ~73°F (no sunlight) •Small scoop placed in a bowl •Recorded continuously for 10 minutes At the 10-minute mark: •Ice had partially melted •Still retained several solid pieces •This ice won’t last as long as traditional freezer cubes, but it also doesn’t disappear instantly.
