Clinique Even Better Clinical Vitamin Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 45 With Vitamin C, Vitamin E + Vitamin B3 | Light Coverage + Vibrant Finish There are so many colors to choose from, I am astounded to select a shade (that seems to be) a perfect match. I held up my arm to the picture of the swatches on the model arms and squinted a bit to find the shade that "disappeared." When it arrived, I applied it with a foundation brush and buffed it into my skin. I wouldn't call this light coverage. It is not like a tinted moisturizer or BB/CC cream. It is a foundation, it does have color to it, and it is noticeable when you are wearing it. It definitely isn't full coverage, but it isn't "light" either. The coverage seems to be a heavy-light coverage. It mostly blended well, but a few of the areas with thinner skin (like under my eyes), it didn't blend as well and was cakey. It took a lot more blending in those areas to thin it out. Maybe if I had concealer in those places, it wouldn't be as obvious. The coverage lasted well for the few hours that I wore it. I usually only wear foundation and full-face makeup for special occasions. I don't like the transfer of foundation when using a tissue, or when touching your face. I do like that the SPF on this foundation is 45. That seems higher than the regular 15-30 that most foundations use.

Got this for my wife, and she's very happy with it. She told me to give it 4.5 stars. It does a good job of blending into the skin, giving it a more even appearance. It looks very natural when worn, and she does not find it to be heavy or sticky like some other face creams that provide SPF protection.

Rewview for: Clinique Even Better Clinical Vitamin Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 45 With Vitamin C, Vitamin E + Vitamin B3 | Light Coverage + Vibrant Finish I am not a full coverage girlie so when I saw this pop up as an option I knew I had to try it. I was nervous about the color as I am hard to shade match, but the one I chose worked out well for my skin tone. I would say it is more of a medium coverage than a light coverage which is the main reason I am giving it 3 stars. It felt thick on my face and also has a bit of a dewy look/feel to the finish. It is a pretty thin formula as well which makes the application a little tricky (and confuses me as to why it feels thick when it is on). On the plus side it seemed to stay on well even through the heat & sweat. I do think it is worth a try especially with the huge range of shades and the good spf coverage. I would recommend to try it on in stores. Also of note that it smells pretty strongly of SPF. That is hard to avoid with an SPF foundation so I am certainly not taking off any points for that, but I do think it is worth noting.

I don't normally order foundation online, without knowing which shade I will need, but I took a gamble and guessed. The shades come in both cool and warm tones for a more precise match to the user. The shade I ordered blended seamlessly into my skin. It looks completely natural, as if I am not wearing any foundation at all. Only a small amount of foundation was needed to apply to my entire face. It applied smoothly, and does not look cakey at all, as some other foundations do. The best part about this product is that it has 45 SPF. This is especially important to me as I get older and want to protect my skin more. This foundation is expensive, however, it is the type of item that you get what you pay for, and in this case is a much higher quality.

This Clinique foundation is a great option if you're a Black woman looking for a good color match. The brand offers a decent range of shades, and I was able to find one that blended seamlessly with my skin tone without looking ashy or too warm. The coverage is buildable, allowing me to achieve a natural look for everyday wear or layer it for more coverage when needed. It also feels comfortable on the skin and doesn't oxidize throughout the day, which is a big plus. . Overall, I'm really happy with the shade selection and the performance of this foundation.
