Can't beat this fixture for the price! We were replacing a dated 8 light hollywood style fixture in a large bathroom, I was concerned about losing lighting, but with new led soft white bulbs this is much brighter than the old fixture (we installed upside down I prefer the look). The fixture does not feel too cheap, and I like the simple design - it's builder grade without looking too builder grade. My husband installed, he says installation was easy, however the anchors that came with the fixture kept breaking so we had to use our own. No big deal because we always have them on hand, but something to keep in mind. The media could not be loaded. This light bar is beautiful and for the size and quality, the price is great! We gutted our guest bathroom and replaced a small 3-light fixture with this 6-light to brighten up the bathroom. We installed a dimmer switch and dismantle bulbs so when bathing in the new soaking tub we could have a tranquil warm glow instead of bright light. The fixture really goes beautifully with out new design. Also I like that it can be installed with the shades opening up or down. We chose down so we don’t have to clean out any bugs or dust that would collect with them going up. ... show more

Arrived on time and was exactly as indicated on the package, so the service from the fulfillment center was excellent. Everything other than the mounting tools were included in the box, and the material was very well protected- arrived in perfect shape, clean and dry despite being left on my front porch in wet wintry weather by the delivery man. Very easily mounted and installed on our bathroom wall, and the product looks awesome, adding a nice touch to the renovation. Replaces and is much classier than the old “dressing room lights”. The metal faceplate is fairly thin and the brushed nickel finish does not quite match my expectations (hence the 4 stars), but once it’s up on the wall and the lights are on, you can’t really tell either one. The shades (frosted glass) are much thicker than expected and while they won’t be getting any abuse, it was nice to see that the manufacturer didn’t skimp on the quality of the glass to keep the price down. The retainer rings that hold the shades are well matched to the inserts, again a good indication that the details are important. I installed lamps down (you can install either way with zero difficulty) , as it achieves the look I want in a standard 8’ tall ceiling application- if the ceiling were higher, probably would have installed lampside up. Installation was a breeze- four wall mounting screw holes in addition to the electric box connection makes it very solid on the wall. Was up and operating in less than 20 minutes, and WOW, when paired with 40 watt LED lightbulbs, does it shine! To the point where I’m either going to have to splurge on a dimmer switch or scour the area for 25 watt bulbs. All in all, a very good purchase for the money- would give it 4.5 stars if I could, because given the cost, the service, and the looks, you can’t ask for much more for the money. ... show more

I was looking for a brushed nickel fixture and this one looks really nice. It was easy to install and is well made. Others had noted problems with the globe nuts not screwing onto the socket due to obstructions. The fixture I received had the nuts threaded fully onto the socket. I assume procedure was enacted to alleviate the threading issue. I have installed different brand of fixtures of this style and I was happy to find this one to be sturdy. It was couple inches shorter but it worked out perfectly. I love the hammered glass. It did have a small scratch on the brushed nickel finish but you couldn’t see it with the lights on.
