This KINGBOLEN K10 Elite Bidirectional Scan Tool is by far the BEST Code Reader/Scanner/with 40 reset options. I have much more expensive code readers like Snapon that do far less then this one and cost me every year to update. I had a light on a Honda Accord for the Airbag and none of my scan tools would tell me what was wrong. This one showed me the problem and I fixed it and reset the light. The Case is hard plastic and very well padded inside with straps to hold the unit secure. The screen is very large and much easier to read then a small hand tool. It hooked right to the internet with no effect and is very fast. The battery last a very long time. I used it for about 3 hours and the battery is still at 80%. The Live Data is one of my favorite functions. It shows you everything you could possibly want to know and more. The health report works great. The Auto VIN function finds your car quick and easy. I really like the stand Its nice and secure and hold the unit up in any angle you want. Comes with a manual that is easy to understand, comes with extra plugs for other Countries, comes with your OBD/2 cord and a power cord. Its very simple and easy to use and high tech at the same time. It makes my life a lot easier.

Got this at a great price but now I wish I’d got the cordless one, the cord is barely long enough to reach the steering wheel when I put it there to use. I’d probably recommend the pro for that reason but I do like it especially for the price I got it for

As a master technician, I was looking for a full function diagnostic scanner. Kingbolin k10 does not disappoint. Used today to diagnose catalytic converter efficiency code. In just a couple minutes ,stacked the two 02 sensor voltages on the graphing mode. Easily shows problem. I can record and store readings and email customer with results. Screen is large enough to show more information than most scanners. This is a very powerful diagnostic tool without breaking the bank.

The media could not be loaded. I am used to launch scanners, but this one is much more intuitive. This 10 inch scanner with apology is at least $200 cheaper than other than brand names with the same configuration. I really like that it can do ECU coding and it has 40 resets. This is one of the fastest ones I have used so far. The battery last extremely long time very fast updates and is a complete professional tool. Updates after the two years are also cheaper than other brand names. Highly recommend the seller.

I’ve used several scan tools over the years, and the K10 Elite really stands out in terms of what it offers for the price. It’s packed with high-end features, and while it’s not perfect, it punches well above its weight. Setup and Interface Getting started was simple. The interface is fast and responsive, with a clear layout that doesn't feel overwhelming, even with so many features. The touchscreen is bright and easy to read, and navigating between menus is smooth. It boots up quickly and connects to vehicles without any lag. Diagnostics and Bidirectional Control This is where it really shines. The full system scan goes deep, pulling codes from every module I’ve tested so far - engine, transmission, ABS, body control, you name it. The bidirectional control works well and is responsive, which has been extremely useful for testing actuators, fans, windows, etc. It's not just reading codes - it actually lets you interact with systems directly. Topology Mapping The topology graph is surprisingly useful. It gives a visual layout of the vehicle’s network systems, so you can instantly see which modules are responding and which ones have issues. For more complex jobs or even quick overviews, it saves a lot of time. Advanced Features I’ve tested ECU coding on a couple of supported vehicles, and it worked as expected - smooth and without any weird issues. The scanner also supports FCA AutoAuth for newer Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge vehicles, which is huge if you work with those brands. And having CAN-FD and DoIP support means it’s more future-proof for newer models. The reset functions (40+ of them) cover almost everything - oil, EPB, BMS, SAS, DPF, throttle, and more. I’ve used several already, and they’ve all worked without hiccups. Build and Updates Physically, the unit feels solid - not heavy, but not cheap either. Buttons are responsive, and the ports are all well-placed. Updates are free for two years, and the process is straightforward via Wi-Fi. No weird subscription pop-ups or forced upgrades so far. A Few Minor Things Some of the advanced functions like ECU coding and adaptations may be limited by vehicle support, so you’ll want to double-check compatibility before diving in. The ADAS menu is there, but unless you have the equipment, it’s not something most people will use. Final Thoughts Overall, the K10 Elite is a powerful and versatile scan tool that’s ideal for DIYers, advanced enthusiasts, or even as a backup for pros. It goes way beyond basic code reading, and features like bidirectional control, topology mapping, and ECU coding make it a serious diagnostic tool - at a price that’s not too big for such tool.

I wish I had more experience using such a versatile diagnostic tool, but what I do mess around with is impressive. Unlike a simple code reader/resetter, this unit has bidirectional capability that allows various options, that many vehicles support, to be changed according to preference - not how they're set from the factory. An example is having your doors automatically lock (or not lock) as the vehicle gets underway. While all this functionality might be a bit much for many people, for the serious tinkerer it's almost a necessity. As updates are released, these are easy to install, and the tool will list all available updates for selection. Hookup to wi-fi through my phone's hot-spot was simple to setup, and made registration easy. So for me, it's a 5 star product that allows diagnosing and modifying almost any vehicle I'm familiar with, and many I'm not!
