  • Easy to setup, seems durable
Bought this for a long term cover for my 93 f150. Took me and my dad about 20 minutes to put up, it wasn't hard at all I barely used the instructions. It actually measures 19'11" x 10'10" from corner to corner. The cover feels like a really heavy tarp so we will see how it holds up in the weather. All of the pipes just fit into each other they don't stay together but that wasn't much of a problem for me because I used those twist dog tie downs and ratchet straps to anchor it down and it seems stable. I'll update in a few months. ***Update 8/10/17*** Tarp lasted this long no fading or tears, except for a really bad storm saturated the ground, pull the anchors up and the canopy crumbled into a ball. Was able to salvage everything, tarp had 3 small holes in it but still worked alright. Currently looking for a replacement tarp for it. ***UPDATE 12/7/18*** I ordered another tarp from Amazon to replace the wind-destroyed one, but it did not last long at all. It's very hard to find replacement traps for this because it's such a weird size. All the poles and everything are still function but I don't currently have a tarp on it that will last more than a couple of months. ... show more

  • Great buy, very sturdy
This is the 3rd one of these we've purchased. We have a non-profit that uses these a couple of times a year, and they are a wonderful, sturdy shelter, even erected on hard-surface parking lots. We've found that zip-lock bags full of pea gravel or sand, duct-taped around the legs, will hold down the canopy even in gusty conditions, just as well as the store-bought leg weights. However, we have never used them for more than two days at a time, so I cannot address how they hold up for long-term use. When you put this up, follow the directions, it will be MUCH simpler...assemble the top portion as a piece, then bungee the tarp in place BEFORE putting the legs on. We also found that a color coding the parts with different colors of spray paint helps get it up quickly for the next time. Try not to destroy the box it came in, if possible; you can duct tape it and use it to store the canopy parts. If not, they sell big bags that the parts will fit into for safekeeping. Just remember to keep ALL the parts together. ... show more

  • Very Sturdy Product!
We've had this up for about a month now. It went up pretty easily with 2 people assembling it; it could be done with one person, but it would be aggravating. We took an extra step of drilling a small hole in each of the legs where it connects with the top and screwing a small bolt through them to permanently attach the legs to the roof frame. We also purchased a set of weight bags separately and secured them to the legs. We recently had a strong storm with over 60 MPH winds and it stayed completely intact. We have been pleasantly surprised with how well this has worked! It is large enough to house a 2-door jeep and a small utility trailer under it. If you are looking for a cheap and reliable solution to protect an extra vehicle, this is just the ticket! ... show more

  • Not for Snowy Weather
On a standard day I love my car cover. I initially bought it to block the sun and rain, pin pitch and other pine dust off the cars. Just came through a snow storm, however, about 2 feet of snow. The upper middle bar bent. Hubby fixed it, but now I am a bit worried when it snows. I was out there at 2 am with a broom trying to keep the build-up of snow off it after the first bend. I eventually took the bungees off so the snow wouldn't pull on the bars. It didn't slid off easily. So I don't recommend it for snow country but I love it otherwise. It was easy to put together (needs two people). The quality is good for the price. We will buy a replacement cover this year. Looks like it will be a yearly purchase $40, but the other option is 3,000 dollars for metal. ... show more

  • No go for snow!!
This was super easy to put together for 1 person in just a few minutes. It took a 2nd person for 1 step, which was raising it up and putting 2 legs on. It is lightweight, sturdy, and it arrived quickly. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that the tie downs are sold separately and it is absolutely necessary to tie it down! I would definitely buy it again. 12-8-18 UPDATE: A month after setup we had our first snow, it didn't go well...granted it was a wet heavy snow but the canopy was completely destroyed. If you want to unhook the tarp before the snow then it will hold up, but what good is that? ... show more

  • Quality, probably the best deal for the money when to comes to an outdoor cover.
I bought mine from distributor TrueShelter. Very fast shipping!! The item is heavy duty, I was surprised about the quality for the money. You probably need two people to put this together easily. The only faults I have are with the manufacturer. I called two ask "what size screws I should buy to anchor this in to concrete?" As it was being shipped to my mother's home 2 hours away with no nearby stores and I needed to buy them before hand. Every time I called "King Canopy" it either went to voice mail for technical support which still hasn't returned my calls or sales which had no idea besides telling me to try "home depot." Terrible service on that part. Over all very satisfied with the he product. Just need to take the one foot I left off to home depot and size the correct concrete screws and go back to anchor it down... I'm in Florida and with severe weather here you already know the story! ... show more
