Just installed these speakers a few days ago. Extremely easy install into vinyl siding on my backyard deck (studs behind siding). I bought these to pair with my Denon DRA800H AVR in my living room, about 50 feet away through an exterior wall. I also bought a bluetooth transmitter, which I connected to my zone 2 pre out on the AVR. So, after all that, I can now listen to different audio on my deck than what is playing inside the house on zone 1. Upon plugging in the bluetooth transmitter and speakers, they instantly paired automatically, and I was rocking out on the deck. I've seen other reviews from people who are not impressed with the sound, but with my setup, they sound fantastic. Perhaps because the audio is being driven by a top notch AVR, and not a phone or something. They come with speaker wire included, but I used higher grade speaker wire. I'm sure that makes some difference. I can't speak to durability, as they've only been installed for two days. They are installed under the eave of my roof, so that should protect them from the elements somewhat. Definitely worth the money in my opinion! ... show more

I was weary on choosing a brand I’ve never heard of and was reading mixed reviews. Went for it anyway because of the price . Happy to say we’re rocking these baby’s daily. Good sound with bass! Super easy to install. Ignore reviews of blu tooth connection issues. I have a family of 5 with I phones and androids . We never have any problems connecting in fact it’s extremely fast ! All we do if someone is connected and another person wants there tunes connected is shut off Bluetooth on the phone that’s connected. Then have the other person connect. No problems. Very easy, very quick and convenient set up . I have a acre of land and have one on my back porch aiming away from the house. The other about 20 feet apart aiming down at a jacuzzi. We can here them both loud and clear any where on my property. I highly recommend them 👍 ... show more

I really like these. Big, good looking, easy to install, loud and good bass. Only issue is volume control. I bought them to hook to my outdoor Vizio TV and the volume is cap'd on the TV and there's no volume comtrol for the speakers themselves so my TV doesn't get loud even at 100. Sound quality is decent for all types of music. Heavy bass does show the speakers limits. Comes with 15’ of speaker wire (not enough for most outside jobs). Connection was easy. Get about 30-40’ before bluetooth drops out. Mine are installed under roof overhang so out of direct weather. Plugged into wireless outlet in attic for ease of turning on/off. No issues so far after one month of use. I put silicon over speaker wire connections to prevent corrosion due to humid conditions. 8/14. Update Main speaker is starting to cut in and out. Slave speaker still works fine. Will be contacting vendor for replacement. 8/19 Update Vendor is shipping a replacement. 10/3 Update Vendor worked quickly to resolve some logistics problems. New speaker is working good so far after one month. Very happy with the customer service and them taking responsibility for their product and making sure I was happy with the product. ... show more

We purchased this set in 2022 and they did work beautifully for a couple of years, but for most of this spring and early summer, the speakers have severely struggled. And now they are worthless and will likely need replacing. The speaker initially started having problems connecting to Bluetooth. It would sound like it was trying, and might play for a second and then connect. I would unplug the speakers, delete my saved Bluetooth devices, and reconnect. But today the speaker failed to connect to anyone's phone. It just plays a random zap sound. We have Bluetooth speakers in our shop and in the boat and tractors and they continue to work just fine. 3 and a half years isn't bad, but I got no reason to think they wouldn't work today. The Bluetooth version is 5.0. Up until this point, I would have gladly repurchased these, but perhaps will choose a different brand. ... show more

Installed easily. Connected easily. I had a problem and reached out to the supplier (Person naked this responded), and they were super attentive and sent a replacement. Problem was more then able and not the unit. I’m using these off the rear deck of our cottage and the sound is great. Highly recommend these for the price. I wouldn’t want a smaller size as I’m not sure the bass would come through as well as these. If you want $300-400 bass and sound, go spend that, but I have a lot of speakers of high to mid quality all over various properties, and these work great. I’m connecting it to an Echo Dot through Bluetooth so the family or guests can just ask for music or whatever anytime they want. Thanks to Chris at Herdio for being so quick to respond! Units are really nice. Hefty. Well made. Wiring set up is super simple. As far as the sound quality though, they are only so so. Bass is pretty good. No midrange at all to speak of. These speakers turned out to be one of my favorite enhancements to our backyard. Bought these for myself for father's day and used all summer. Once I got them set up and mounted they are SUPER easy to use and add great ambiance to our pool area. I like that I didn't have to install a receiver and that via Bluetooth I can control the music through my phone - either while I am floating around or simply with "Hey Google". Didn't need to mess with another piece of equipment. I have them plugged into an outdoor smart plug too, so everything just magically happens. Sound on higher volumes is a little distorted, but for people who don't want to tick off their neighbors, you should be fine! Very happy with the purchase. Going to warp them up for the winter to protect them, and will report back next year. ... show more
