I hoped I would get a long-lasting one that I read about in reviews but I didn't even get the clock set before the display went blank. It came back dim and I was able to start over (It's easy to set). If I hold it at an angle I can sometimes read the time and the alarm does work. This little clock is adorable, with neat sounds, and changing colors. Sadly, it stopped working after 48 hours. I installed three brand new AAA batteries, and it died.

This item was horrible. The cheap price should have been the give-away. I purchased 2. Within 1 week we could no longer see the numbers on one of the clocks. Thought the kids did something to it so I purchased another one. After setting it up, over night the same thing happened.
