This is a powered antenna using 3-5 vdc. It works for a number of Garmins as listed, I found it works well for the larger A series Raymarine MFDs which have a coaxial socket for the GPS antenna. It may also work on other Raymarines with the coax socket. Raymarine sells the GA200 for about $200. Save your money this works ... show more

Mounted it on the boat and connected it and the Garmin GPSMap 215 had no problems connecting again. Unit has been down for a while, thought it was bad. Tried this antenna and it's back in working shape again!

This fit right in where the old one used to be. The old one was damaged during storms and now I can feel more confident going out with a good reliable antenna.
