This speaker blew out 13 months after I bought it.The truck I put it in is hardly driven.I have a small amp as well.No reason for this speaker to go bad.Beware!!!!!

    • Clean bass flat response.
10" dual 4 ohm coil. Built into .9 cu ft sealed box with light polyfill. Driven with Kicker class D amp 600 watts rms @2 ohms. Flat from 110 hz down to 34hz. Freq response drops off fast below 33hz. I like the sound. It will do subsonics albeit lightly. Good for my small hatchback.

Would not recommend these speakers I played two previous model type R 10s for eight years Same Amp wired the same way after three minutes of playtime I could smell the speakers they cannot handle what the previous model can ..
