The KICKER 51HS12 Hideaway HS12 is a compact powered 12-inch subwoofer system designed to deliver serious low-frequency impact from a low-profile, all- aluminum enclosure. Built to fit under many seats and in tight spaces, it adds deep, controlled bass without sacrificing cargo or cabin room. With KICKER’s FIT+ (Fail-safe Integration Technology PLUS), the HS12 accepts input signals from 0.25V up to 40V (400 watts at 4 ohms), making it compatible with a wide range of factory and aftermarket head units, including newer start/stop vehicles. Whether you connect via low-level RCA or high-level speaker inputs, the HS12 is engineered to integrate cleanly into modern vehicles without needing an external line output converter. The onboard 230-watt RMS amplifier is paired with a 12-inch driver and a fully adjustable control set, including a 12 dB/octave low-pass crossover (50–120 Hz), 24 dB/octave high-pass filter at 25 Hz, variable KickEQ bass boost up to +6 dB at 40 Hz, and a 0°/180° phase switch. An included wired remote level control lets you fine-tune bass output from the driver’s seat, independent of the main radio volume.
