I’m very impressed with the Kicker CX1200.1. It has plenty of clean power and really brings my subwoofer to life. The amp is compact, looks great, and has been easy to install and adjust. The controls make it easy to get the bass dialed in exactly how I want it. I’m running it with a Kicker sub and the combination sounds excellent—deep, clean bass with plenty of impact when I turn it up. Overall, this is a solid, powerful amp that performs exactly like I expected from Kicker. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a reliable monoblock amplifier setup. This is one of the best amps I've ever owned. It powers two Kicker subwoofers in a Kicker made enclosure. The bass is phenomenal. The amp doesn't overheat during long extended play. Doesn't drain the stock battery. It is perfect for upgrading your factory system without breaking the bank. Or tearing up your car with vibration. I absolutely love this amp I wish I bought it sooner. It comes with a birth certificate and is tested and rated true power mine puts out 1237 watts and it’s clean power. The amp draws 100 amps of current itself you’re probably gonna need a big 3 upgrade to power this amp properly. I will say I’ve had other amps that produced the same power but also drew 150 to 200 amps of current which is a huge amount. I have this amp powering 1 harmony audio 12” monolith and it hits hard and deep notes with this amp. My sub is 1500 watts rms and this amp makes my one sub louder than 2 other brand 12’s . It handles 1 and 2 ohm loads. I will say I have my gain about 3/4 and my kickeq (bass knob) about half way and after following the tuning chart with my volt meter and it only puts out minimal heat. There’s a million amps on the market but I learned my lesson stick with the best. If you’re build is on a budget do yourself a favor and spend the little extra on this amp you won’t regret it. I’ve bought many amps over the years and I always end up with a kicker amp and an alpine source unit. The money you save initially on other brands don’t last long term. ... show more

There are so many great reviews of this amp, and I can certainly say first hand this amp is just awesome .. Clean power you can hear and feel .. I have it playing an old JBL gt 10"dvc rated at 400 RMS .. Noticeable difference over the 1000 watt mono MB Quart amp I replaced, plus in a way smaller package .. No noticeable heat, truly value for money .. ... show more

Great amp as expected from kicker. I didn't like the fact that the lower frequencies were blocked limiting the lower notes on my subs.

Bought this amp to power my 2 12” kicker subwoofers. The quality of this thing is amazing and the size is perfect. You can’t get this much power from another amp this size. I was able to install it under the seat of my Jeep Wrangler. Sound quality is 10 out of 10!
