Had 4 of these laying around and 2 got damaged. So i had to buy another 2. Put them in my honda civic. And wow was i surprised. These are a Great budget upgrade from stock. Super easy to install with adapters or you can cut the harness out of the stock speakers. Either way they work fine id say at least 40% Louder then stock. Way more clear! All on stock head unit. Replaced aftermarket 5.25 that I had in my Jeep TJ soundbar with these 6.5. No cutting was needed, just had to drill new holes for screws so super installation. Sound was night and day different and considerable more bass. Yes they are a bit more expensive than other brands but worth the little more IMO. ... show more

    • Good Speakers with aftermarket head unit.
Backstory: Bought a new car and the driver side door speaker was blown out. Bought these speakers to replace both doors. Initially i was disappointed in the sound quality, particularly the bass. Bass was there but not very punchy or loud. The sound quality is excellent though and i was not going to return them because of the bass. Things got much more interesting after I installed a new double din head unit in my car. The sound went from decent, to AMAZING. The bass is incredibly punchy and responsive now. Before, I could barely feel the bass in the doors, now my whole car vibrates with bass, its incredible. If you are looking for a lot of bass, like me, just be aware, these speakers are capable of being really loud and bass-y, but you might need to pump up the amp in your car, or in my case, the head unit. I would definitely recommend these speakers if you have an aftermarket radio, as they will sound amazing. If you are using your stock radio, don't expect TOO much. They are still great for a normal radio, but in my opinion they really come alive when you put some power behind them. For example, before to hear bass my sound was at "30". Now I'm jammin at volume "10". ... show more

These speakers are absolutely nice! I didn't end up being able to use the grille covers over them but they were easy install and fit for all 4 door speakers once i got the door panels off on my 03 Silverado Crew Cab.
