The best 6x9 inch speakers for the money, no doubts in my mind or questions asked. As of writing this in the beginning of 2025 these are the best I’ve installed for their price point for the 26 years I’ve been installing stereos and speakers. I’ve installed many different manufacturers speakers over the years and these are the best sounding speakers I’ve come across in a while. They are clear, whether a kick drum or a cymbal crash, from Hendrix to Notorious B.I.G. they kick major ass. I haven’t pushed them with a high powered amp yet but from aftermarket Kenwood head units they are amazing. I use Kenwood head units because they put out the most RMS power than any other manufacturer, which is the continuous usage power rating not the peak power rating. Kenwood also has the best equalizers with a ton of adjustments built into most of there radio with the Excelon units being the best amount of fine tuning and adjustments possible. I’m running an older Kenwood head unit through the upgraded Toyota factory wiring with 6 1/2” Kenwood Performance series KFC-710PS components in the front doors and the 6x9” 3 way CS series Kickers in the back deck with the factory sound deading mat. They sound amazing and pump out some really punchy bass and the highs and mids are amazingly clear. Great band for the buck and I would purchase them over and over as long as they keep the same quality and sound. The materials used are top notch and they love factory systems as well as aftermarket systems, so either one you have they will pump out the music and be crystal clear as long as you don’t get too crazy with the bass expectations they will take whatever an aftermarket head unit will dish out and will be able to handle a moderate amount of high amplification, I would say up to 75-80 watts RMS. Excellent speaker. Bass is awesome if you feed it enough power. I was only giving it about 50 amps and it was playing great with nice bass at lower volumes. Clarity is very nice and good at high volumes also. Big magnet fits just fine in the back deck of my '96 Town Car. Be weary if you have a shallow mount vehicle cause it's huge. The most important thing I can say is just feed this thing all the power you can. If you're running a stock radio you should still add an amp because it really makes a difference with the bass on this thing night and day to be honest. Worked perfectly for my 2019 Tacoma. You’ll have to buy a wire adapter and a plastic speaker adapter but those are cheap. The sound difference is actually insane. I’m excited to upgrade more of my speakers with kicker!

Amazing speakers, fit well in my jeep and reproduce a very deep sound compared to my old kenwood 6x9 drivers. I have 2 set4s of CS series speakers, and I have to say sound deadening does a great job at making these speakers sound perfect. My jeep has a soft top and thin doors, so sound just travels right out of the car. This DESTROYS midrange performance and I was able to tune these to really deliver a lot more than the kenwoods. Overall I dialed it in and I can finally hear the deep guitar notes, and my subwoofer picks up the rest. Great speakers, gets unbearably loud, and mounts extremely shallow. ... show more

So I have had these since August 4 2021 and almost a year in and I have yet to blow these out, bass is actually really good for the price before it went up. Only real thing that I disliked from them is that there’s “too much bass” idk if that’s a real thing or not cause personally I love bass but I hear more bass then the actually lyrics from songs, I do also have door speakers, 6.5 kickers as well and same thing. I would love to give them a 5 because how quick it was too install and above decent performance. Came with the speaker wire included which isn’t common in my experience. If you need a quick upgrade from stock, go for it these are pretty damn loud. ... show more

Great audio quality, big upgrade for my 2005 Tacoma, definitely much needed. Easy install, plug and play if you bought the right METRA parts (specifically Metra). Slight distortion if bass and trebles is too high, but still creates a nice bump with my music, I love how it makes my mirrors rattle with no subs. Build quality is solid, you get what you spend. Power output is enough, real loud if you play with the EQ on your head unit. Absolutely no complaints solid upgrade and well worth the $300 I spent on these, rear 6x5s, and supporting hardware. Put this in my 94 ram 1500 and they sound great. For the money i’m pretty happy with the sound quality, fit, and power delivery from them. I haven’t had them that long but they seem to be pretty reliable so far.
