I Purchased ten of the Kiara Sky dip powder colors for myself a couple of weeks ago after watching a ridiculous number of YouTube videos about the "dip method." I have tried about four of the colors so far (three with my current manicure pictured). I have loved each of the colors. The powders are highly pigmented, and my natural nails feel reinforced, but have no excessive bulk added to them. This color sort of has me baffled because it is a spotty blue and white color, and I am not sure if that is the intended finish or if I over-drilled every nail with this color on it??? The three reasons for my confusion are 1. that I have used the drill on every dip powder color (including the other three colors in my current manicure) I have used with nothing but perfect results...no splotches or discoloration. 2. The blue and white "blotches" look like white, wispy clouds against a beautiful blue sky...not blotchy, really. Gorgeous, actually! And the same thing happened on each nail that I applied that color dip powder to 3. The name of the color is "After the Reign" so...a pun on the word "rain"...which leads one to think of blue skies with fluffy white clouds??? Maybe??? Or perhaps I just screwed those nails up...Either way, I absolutely adore the finish on this color. It looks like watercolor or marble coloring. Just pretty...the pictures really do not do the color justice, and I will be using this color again and crossing my fingers hoping that the color is meant to be the way it turned out this first time around! ... show more

It’s not navy and it’s not purple, but it is beautiful! The sparkles are subtle. Hopefully my photos help. The powder is definitely purple, but notice the lid…the sparkles are definitely blue. This was taken indoors with bright indirect light. My nails are outside in the sun. I see more navy than purple in the final result, but if you’re looking for a true navy, keep looking. On a side note, I really thought I would take better pictures than what I’ve seen in other reviews, but I’ve been humbled...I found it impossible to capture what my eyes see! Kiara sky is top quality. The picture is after one week and theres no chips or cracks. I’ve used other brands and it would crack the next day so i thought i was doing something wrong. This kiara sky color is thrill seeker and it is a cute neutral blue with a slight shimmer in the light.

Powder is really fine, so it goes on without clumping or inconsistency. Much darker than expected, appears black on first look, but has definite teal blue tint. Didn't like it until I sprinkled a tiny bit of silver under a clear top layer. Silver really pops against the dark color and makes it more interesting. ... show more
