I just finished applying it so can’t speak to longevity yet, I’ll update. But so far the application process was fantastic. This is the third different dip base coat I’ve tried and I love the results, it went on super smooth! The powder I’m using is like 6 or 7 years old so probably not the best example, not 100% clear but I typically just do clear and paint regular polish over dip. But if I was doing a color it’d probably be quite nice. It went on so smooth I barely needed to file them for a really good finish. They feel quite well adhered. There’s a slight smell but not too bad and goes away quickly. I took pictures of the application process! Nice packaging and cute bottles, comes with extra brushes and a file.

Purchased this after my product from another store dried up in the bottle. I don’t focus on cost I focus on value. Compared to my initial set I received 8 times more product for a quarter of the price. (Do the math) This kit comes with the glue, activator, brush cleaner and a quick drying top coat. You also get INSTRUCTIONS, a mini nail file, orange wood stick and four extra brushes. I used one brush to remove excess powder, but I think you can replace your brush if it gets stuck together with product. But this won’t happen if you clean your brush after each use - you literally swap brushes between the glue/ adhesive and the cleaner. I also use the Modelone clear dipping powder ( I got at least a one ounce size). Pay attention and don’t purchase ACRYLIC POWDER like some reviewers because they are not the same. This dries really quickly and takes about 30-45 minutes to do a full set. I also use Modelone gel top coat to get a glossy finish and the best part is everything easily soaks off with a little acetone and you can file or scrape it off gently. Another tip - unlike gel, you can use regular polish so don’t waste money on colored powders unless it’s something special. Disclaimer- I am a licensed nail tech and this product is superior and a game changer for doing it at home without the hassle of constant trips to the salon for removal. I have been using dip powder for over 12 weeks now and finally have the hang of it. It usually lasts me about 2 weeks but can be as long as 3. If you look at the photos, I don’t have any major lifting so I’m curious if I’ll be able to do a “fill in” since I’m using the clear powder. Please get the large powder because it’s going to save you time and make application easier because you don’t have to maneuver the container. Trust me- you’re going to love it.

VERY IMPRESSED. Works better than OPI. Easy to use. I like the brush size (a bit longer and curved) it's thick so I feel like I need less coats of powder. No lifting, breaking, cracking or yellowing. So glad I found it...plus half way through my brushes are perfect! I only use the base and activator.

I noticed that I was out of dip liquids and on a whim decided to order these last Friday. Not sure how I ran out of dip liquids since I do my nails so much, but I did, and I needed liquids fast and I liked the price point of these ones. Pros: *The price is great *The bottles are super cute. They are high quality and they are heavy so they don’t tip over easily. *The brushes in the base and top coat are an absolute dream to work with! *The consistency of the base and top coat are great. They aren’t thick, but they aren’t super thin where it’s going to run and cause build up on your cuticles. Cons: *The smell. I’ve been dipping my nails for well over a year. I’ve never had issues with dip liquids before I go these ones. While using them I was getting mild dip flu symptoms. Mostly my throat and I had a slight cough while using them. I’m sure getting a mask would be helpful if you are sensitive to dip liquids. But I’ve never had issues before or needed to use a mask before getting these liquids. *The instructions. I feel besides the smell; the only reason these liquids wouldn’t get a 5 star review is on how the company wants you to apply them. If you’ve dipped a long time you know that after activating; you let it dry and then file and buff and then apply another layer of activator and let that dry and then go in with your two coats of top coat. But, the instructions said to activate, file and buff, then do a layer of top coat, let dry 60 seconds and then do your second layer of top coat. Now; doing it this way the top coat did dry. But it was very dull looking and I like to have a super shiny top coat when I’m finished. So the next time I used these, I activated again after filing and buffing and then did the two coats of top coat and they worked perfectly and gave a great shine! Just make sure you wipe your brush between each nail before returning it to the bottle because it will contaminate your top coat. Besides the smell and instructions for the product I really do like these a lot. But with getting dip flu like symptoms while dipping wasn’t fun so I’m not sure that I will continue to use them.
