I’m a DIY nail dipper. Not a professional. Regular polish and gel doesn’t hold up in my profession. The dip powder actually stands a chance. I needed new liquids and decided to go on the cheap since semi retired now. Used to buy the more expensive ones, but gotta watch the money now. I came across Modelones and the reviews were decent. So I decided to give a try. I’m pleasantly surprised to report that Modelones hold up as well or better than the pricey ones. Found the dry time perfect and no noxious irritant fumes, easy to work with. The first time lasted 2 1/2 weeks, normal for me. I wanted to wait to write this review for accuracy. Just did my nails today and they look great. Will definitely be buying this product again. Highly recommend, especially if you’re being frugal. And these days, who isn’t?

Decided to try those out with a different brand of dip powder, because my original liquid set just got too sticky, and effectively unusable. These are great, the consistency of the liquids make them easy to apply, without being too gooey or too runny. They last a really long time, and I would know because I did quite a lot of manual work with my last set without a crack! Would definitely recommend!

Pros: Easy to use, fast and looks great/professional. Cons: Smells a little and requires filing, top coats take at least twice the time to dry than the bottle states. I used these with a different brand of tips/powder and they turned out great! I have had them on for 2 days and they look like they were just done, I work with my hands and wash them constantly and they still look good/have not chipped. When you file make sure you buff them well, it takes some time but makes them look even better! Worth the price :)

I just finished applying it so can’t speak to longevity yet, I’ll update. But so far the application process was fantastic. This is the third different dip base coat I’ve tried and I love the results, it went on super smooth! The powder I’m using is like 6 or 7 years old so probably not the best example, not 100% clear but I typically just do clear and paint regular polish over dip. But if I was doing a color it’d probably be quite nice. It went on so smooth I barely needed to file them for a really good finish. They feel quite well adhered. There’s a slight smell but not too bad and goes away quickly. I took pictures of the application process! Nice packaging and cute bottles, comes with extra brushes and a file.
