This product was easy to use, however it did not come with instructions so if you aren’t familiar with the steps to do a dip set it can be confusing. The dip cup to place your nails in is a cheap flimsy plastic. The top coat does take time to dry. I topped my set with a clear gel. It comes with three colors that you can mix to make other shades, so don’t be fooled by the image. I made a pretty fall color. I do think this can be used several times over, so worth the money.

Overall this a good product for at home dip manicures. The kit does FAIL to mention that it does not include the BOND, which is needed to begin the dip manicure process. You have to by the bond separately as it IS NOT included in the starter kit. It does not last as long as salon dip manicure and starts to crack and chip around the second week. It is convenient and quick for DIY dip manicures. The colors are nice and do get darker with each coat. Not bad for the price considering you pay $40 for a manicure in the salon at a minimum. The kit has plenty of product, just does not include the bond.

If you can paint your nails without touch ups you can do this. If you paint like a kindergartener then pass. Quick to do but take more time than it says for the final dry. (Like normal nail polish dry time. I thought I was good and washed my hands too soon and it messed with top coat turning it kind of milky. Luckily it was salvaged with another top coat. One dip is pretty but I was afraid it might chip so I did two. Two gives you acrylic thickness. It says you can get up to three but think vintage warewolf movie nails… not a good look. Next time I may just try one and see how it works out.

I use to love doing my own nails: base coat, 2-3 layers of polish, top coat. The hardest part was drying them long enough to not mess them up. On a friend’s rave review I started using Ohora Semi Cured Gel Nail Strips. This was a game changer! They are quick, easy, and my nails looked professionally done! Then along came Dip Powder Nails, courtesy of TikTok. Thank goodness I bought a small kit with 4 colors instead of the massive one with 2 dozen colors! I was excited to try something new. After reading the instructions and watching numerous TikToks and YouTube videos on the appropriate way to apply the dip powder nails, none of which had the same method of application, I ended up with caked nails and spotty coverage with bumps all over. It was worse than applying nail polish the old fashioned way. The pictures I submitted was attempt #2. I am extremely disappointed but thankful that I didn’t spend $50 bucks on the massive kit.

For the price me and my daughters did our nails several times and I still have supplies. This is the first time I’ve ever done it on my nail. It’s easy to do. You don’t have to wait for dry time; just the 30 seconds in between. Dips are great for my nails because one of my nails has recently started to split and it’s the best option.

The colors pretty. Its easy to put on. The reason I have to give it 2 stars is due to how long they last. After 2 days nails start chipping after three days the color starts cracking and coming off. I tried the upgraded liquid kit and I have seen no difference. The glitter colors are worse than the solid colors.
