The hardest part about this application was soaking off my salon acrylic nails. Once my nails were prepped, the instructions were easy to follow and the process was seamless. The powder came sealed, which eased my mind about contamination. The bottles are small, but I’m okay with buying extra considering the overall cost of this kit. I recommend using the swatches beforehand to get a good idea of the final color. The extra brushes came in handy because the brush started to dry while applying the top coat. My natural nails are very thin and weak, and I was surprised that 3 coats of dip powder gave my nails the strength of an acrylic set. I received it and used it right away and I’m so impressed with this! I did a YouTube search to see how this is done and found this vide of someone using this same brand and explained step by step adding some additional steps from the ones provided in this kit. I gotta say it didn’t come out perfect, but this was my first time. I think with practice this is good! Even this first time I think it turned out pretty good! Hopefully it doesn’t chip soon, I’ll update my review though. Only thing, as other reviews mention, the base, top and activator are really small, but it will be good for maybe 5-6 uses? I’m just so happy this will save me lots Of money ... show more

I bought this as my first set when exploring dip powders. It came with everything you need which was great. I bought nail tips and nail glue separately so that I could extend my nails. The powders are fine and easy to use. I suggest using the nail swatches to test out the colors as they all look different after you’ve applied them. I change my dip powders once a week due to personal preference and never had an issue with my nails chipping. The dip easily came off when soaking in acetone. After about a month and a half, the base coat felt like it was drying out (despite there being enough product) and it was causing streaks in my dip powder application. I could easily fix this by just getting more liquids. I encourage anyone trying dip powders to get this kit! ... show more

This is good for someone who’s in a pinch and doesn’t plan on using this long turn. The powders were really small. The buffer and filer aren’t great quality. The paints were so tiny I thought I used them in one go. If you’re trying to save money and need something quickly, get this. I’ve been using this brand for 2 years now and I’m never disappointed !!! These colors are amazing and are true to what is shown in the pictures, as with the other kits i’ve purchased from this brand. I’ve also purchased their full size liquid kit and have had amazing results !! I use clear nail tips, use an E file to blend with the natural nail then 2-3 coats of dip powder and before I add activator, I add two coats of clear acrylic powder because I work in an office and typing plus using my fingers to open boxes etc really cracks my nails so the acrylic holds up as an extra layer of protection and lasts forever. The top coat layer dries within 1 minute with or without my acrylic layer but I always use a fan because I’m impatient but meticulous lol. Do not oversaturate your fingers with activator if you applied thin coats of powder. if you feel like you did, put a timer on for 20 minutes and scroll instagram and touch nothing !! its important you let this dry completely before filing and shaping. Just remember to put the base coat on very thin, not runny and do not go all the way back to the cuticle !!!!!! Gently push/shimmy the brush toward the cuticle and never apply from the cuticle to tip. If the powder starts spilling onto the cuticle, use a wood cuticle stick to clean out the space. This is absolutely one of the best tips Ive heard from nail techs to have the best dip powder set and it’s true plus it cuts down on excess dip ending up on the sides of your fingers. ... show more

I wanted to love this product so much. So bad I bought like 40 colors total. I got sick after the first application. Runny nose, major congestion, sneezing but did not make the connection, I just thought I picked up a bug. A few days later I was practicing shaping and again started to feel sick… Still didn’t make the connection. Fast forward to maybe my 5th application and a few hours later sure enough that night I woke up not able to breath without wheezing, coughing incessantly. Went to the doctor and tested negative for everything but I mentioned doing my nails the day before and they confirmed it. An allergic reaction to the dip liquids most likely or the powder. Really bummed. I see other dip companies have a “sensitive” dip liquid alternative but have not seen one for this one. Hoping this review will maybe prompt the idea of Azurebeauty offering a sensitive liquid alternative. ... show more
