I had wanted to try dip powder myself. I love salon visits, but it’s not in the budget right now. My nails are thin and break easily, so I wanted to see if dip powder would help them. The other reviewers’ reviews seemed favorable, so I decided to give this one a try. Glad I did! First, let’s take a moment for the beautiful packaging! Not a must, but very pretty and unexpected! Also, the 4 powders seem they will last a while. After watching a few YouTube vids on how to do this right, I must admit. I was a bit intimidated and nervous about trying this. But it was surprisingly very easy! I just followed the instructions for prepping and cleaning the nails. (See my awful “before” pic of my nails.) I used the base coat, and dipped it 3 times, as recommended. I’m very happy with how the color turned out! I did the same process for both hands. The activator, for me, was the trickiest part. It’s very thin, and it was hard for me to see if I got enough product on the nail. It must’ve worked, though, because this is day 3 of me wearing them, when I took the after pic (ignore how badly I did near the cuticles.). I love how much stronger my nails are now! I kid you not. My nails tear and shred, the instant they have any nail polish taken off of them! Not now! I may go back in later and do a cool cat eye polish over the top. If you’re a beginner, like me, this is a great kit to start with! You get a lot of high-quality products, for the price! Think of how much you’ll be saving by not going to the salon (although I do admit; I love the celebrity treatment I get at my fave local place.).

The media could not be loaded. Amazing finish & easy to use!!! I was sick of subpar $80 manicures & having to go in for repairs so I decided to attempt nails on my own. This product is great! Easy to use, no uv light required, no chemical smell, strong finish & easy to do quick touch ups/repairs! Will be buying color expansion kit, I like the option of tinted nail finish without paint as I can repair without paint removal etc & dries in minutes. These photos are from my first time using this product, as you can see I had a few glue on tips.. I did 2-3 dips with light sanding in between. Dull finish is no top coat just base, powder & activator. Shiny is with top coat! Can’t wait to get creative with this product. Love it. Does require a slight amount of skill/ precision. But only takes minutes really

I just bought this and used the pink color closest to a light pink subtle by shiny. I love the color and there is a bit of a learning curve but I love how they turned out. Definitely worth the money. Lasted a week without any chips but day 8 since I work with my hands cook and do lots of dishes two nails chipped. Easy fix just re did two and will probably last another week. Highly recommend if you’re looking to save some money from a 50 dollar dip manicure. Pro tip: get an electric nail fail/ dremel (got mine at a tjmaxx for 8 bucks) and it’s much easier to fix any uneven areas.

This was my very first time doing a dip powder on myself and I think it came out great considering. I don't go to the nail salon and figured doing it myself will be more cost efficient and sanitary. You do need to be in a very well ventilated area because these chemicals are strong. I had have lung issues, so I had to wear a n95 mask because it was triggering my symptoms to flare up. But other than that i think this is a great beginner friendly kit. I will be buying more colors to add to my collection.

Easy to use. The instructions are pretty straightforward. I was able to do my own nails and they came out OK. The quality was mediocre, meaning the polish to provide shine didn't do all that well, but it could be me since I am not a nail pro. I'm sure if you knew what you're doing and are able to apply your own tips without getting glue all over yourself these would be perfectly suitable for an event.

This dip powder is amazing! I have been doing my own nails (nude press-ons and painting them myself with gel) for a couple years now to save money. I wanted to try this dip powder and give my nails a break from the glue to see if they would grow stronger and also find something that might last a little longer. It’s been 11 days since my very first application and my nails still look great! No cracking or chipping at all! This dip kit can really be used by anyone with a little practice. I’ll write out my steps to help. 1. Make sure to prep your nails!!! I buffed my nails and made sure to clean up my cuticles first. I Washed my hands with dawn soap. once fully dry I sprayed my nails with alcohol and wiped my nails dry. I then waiting 5min before starting to apply the dip powder. 2. Make sure you are applying a THIN even coat of base. If you have too much on the brush it’s going to accumulate on the sides of your nail beds and create a bumpy and uneven result. Also, make sure you are getting the base coat on the edges of your nails. I’ll be honest, this is the hardest part. 3. SPRINKLE the powder on evenly over the entire nail! I chose not to dip my finger into the cup or tray, and I think this really helped my end result. Don’t tap or brush off the excess right away. Let it bind to the base coat and dry for 1-2min before dusting off the extra dip. I did 3 applications of the powder and 2 layers of top coat. My first attempt wasn’t perfect but they are lasting and well worth the money! I also like the idea of using this powder on my longer press-on nails because it will be stronger than gel polish and prevent them from cracking/breaking as easily.
