I'm in LOVE with the Kiara sky dip powders! I am anemic and my nails are generally very short from being brittle and breaking all the time. I purchased this kit about a month ago and have been AMAZED by the results. I've never used dip powders before, but the instructions are so clear it makes the whole process simple. The growth I've seen since beginning my use of this kit is incredible. my nails are finally long enough to shape. I look forward to ordering more colors, but the colors in this kit are all beautiful and wearable. For only having 3 colors, the range is wide enough to fit any occasion. Like I said I will be expanding my collection but I am SO HAPPY I bought this. It's worth every penny considering getting the same service done at a salon is $50+tip. My friends have seen photos of my nails through snapchat and assumed they were done professionally. I am going to emerge from quarantine with beautiful, long nails. Firstly I have never had dip powder done at a salon or home but being a nurse it is so though to find time getting nails done. After a friend posted about kiara sky on insta , I was determined to try. I watched diy videos while waiting for this package and needless to say, this was super easy , super quick and simple to follow for busy bees like me. Because of work, I have to keep my nails very very short and the “prim and proper “ powder included in this starter kit is a a perfect natural blush pink tone for work or daily use. It comes with clear powder, pink tone , natural powder, red and gold colors. The numbered bottles made this so easy and the free dip recycling system is good to catch powders you shake off after each nail applications. On ny next night out or events , I will do add on tips for lenght and will post an update then as well. The guide is also included . I will not go back to led gels nor salons ever ! Thank you kiara sky . ***** Had to order twice since the first delivery was lost somewhere but this was worth all the hassle.

I've been getting dip powder manicures for a little over 4 years now on a pretty regular 2 week basis. I started to worry about my nail health because of the constant use of the electric file that nearly all nail techs use anymore. I figured I could get my own powder set and do my nails at home so I could avoid the drill that's making my nails so thin. So far I've used it 3 times and I LOVE it! It's so easy to use and the colors that come in the kit are great. I started off just using the Natural color powder so if I messed up it wouldn't be as noticeable, naively that was my trial run. A few weeks later I removed that and used the Nude color which I loved for simplicity and yesterday finally felt I had my technique down so I used the Red and wow, my nails look great! My boyfriend even asked me if I went to get my nails done and when I told him I did them myself he immediately grabbed my hand for a closer look and said I did a really nice job.

So I just used this for the first time yesterday. I didn’t realize until I opened it and used it that I was sent the wrong one. I ordered the color dip powder starter set but was sent the French dip started set instead. I’m fine with it. However the French tip one is $10 cheaper than what I paid. Besides that, the application was easy and great! I’ve been to the nail salon a lot and had this done so I was familiar with the process already. I tried the light pink. It came out more of a clear for me with a slight pink hue. I can still see my natural nail. It works for me. I am allergic to a lot of things, including the glue used for press on nails, so I can see if I start having an allergic reaction. It goes on thinner than Modelones which is a brand I tried before and didn’t really like because it was too thick and it didn’t have the vitamins. I have weak brittle nails that lift and break easily. It’s from a medical condition. I used to get acrylics at a salon but with the pandemic everything is closed. All my nails broke to a very short length and I decided it was time to take action myself until the salons open again. I will be buying more colors for sure!! It may even replace the $50 every two weeks to the nail salon. We shall see how it holds up for 2 weeks. I’m in love! :)

So with the whole quarantine I got into doing my own nails using polygel. Well to my surprise I’m allergic to polygel so I had to find an alternative and lo and behold there’s dip powder that is much safer and less harsh if it touches the skin. When I used polygel my hands would itch for days no matter how careful I was not to touch my skin with the polygel. As I read reviews about the dip powder it talked about how you have to practice with it a few times and eventually you’ll get the hang of it. Really?! I felt this was the easiest to use out of any type of nail process I’ve ever gotten into. By far beats polygel and acrylics. First time I used this it came out perfect! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to apply all the products from the liquid steps to the powder. Everything did exactly what it was suppose to. I haven’t stopped looking at my nails. The glitter color I used in the picture is called Strobe Light. I bought that separate when I bought this kit. I read some reviews didn’t get the recycle container but thankfully my kit did come with it but it came seperate with the kit in the same packaging box. I know the kit is on the pricey side but seriously you get what you pay for. I read reviews on the cheaper brands and I’d rather save the disappointment and pay for quality to be happy with my results and know that I’ll be using this very very often. Kiara Sky dip powder is the best!

I love the product and it was easy to use. The topcoat was the hardest to deal with. You have to wipe your nails with a lint-free cloth. So, of course, I looked around and found the next best thing which was cloth I wipe my glasses with. What I didn't know: Do not wipe the brush with the lint-free cloth because the brush will fall apart. Do: Use a paper towel to wipe the excess off the topcoat brush and the first bottle you put on your nails because the brushes harden!!! I ruined the brush and can't replace the lid, but hey I have beautiful looking nails. So what I ruined the bottle. I guess I will be purchasing a new one using one of those replacement brushes that are included in the box. I don't think it benefits anyone to use the actual brush from the bottle because you may come across the same issue I had. A franking damaged brush! The product is worth the purchase. I saved 50.00 every 2-3 weeks. I choose a day to pamper myself hair, face, skin, and now nails and toes. Enjoy your purchase you won't regret it unless you don't listen to me and you damage that brush.

The kit arrived with the base, step 2, unusable as it was solid instead of liquid, with the brush glued into the bottle breaking the brush in half when trying to remove it. I went to the store and purchased a different bottle of base/gel/glue from another manufacturer and attempted to continue on, only to discover, the seal and protect, step 3, seemed very thick and the top coat, step 4, also was not useable, as the brush was sealed shut into the bottle and also broke off when trying to unscrew the lid. In order to try to use any of the remaining components to the kit I had to buy additional items from a local store. The powder went on nicely with the other manufacturers products, but it was very disappointing to receive damage/unusable product. When I tried to reach out to the seller to replace just the damage, unusable bottles, the only option was a full refund, which I requested.

Loved this product! I’ve been wanting to do my own dip nails at home for a while! I have a gel kit at home with the light, but I wanted something that lasted even longer without chipping or lifting. There’s definitely a learning curve to using the kit (my first set were terrible lol) but once you practice and get the hang of it, it’s amazing! I highly recommend getting an electric nail drill to go along with this in case you get the polish on your cuticles or on your skin so you can easily file it away. The colors that come with this are pretty standard - a nude color, a red, and a gold. I wish it came with maybe 1 other color but that’s ok! I have already bought more colors of the Keira Sky brand to use! Great product and definitely worth the price compared to the less expensive, lower quality kits.
