I bought this heater for my parents for their backyard. Thanks to lockdown life, we've been spending a lot more time outdoors, and wanted something to keep us warm in the colder seasons. The heater arrived unassembled (which makes sense given how big it is). Everything you need is included in the package including a wrench. Plumber's tape is recommended though, and having a second wrench is helpful for some steps. Otherwise, you have everything you need. Most of the exterior pieces were covered in a protective wrap, and the heater comes with a weather cover for when its fully assembled. I followed the instructions and was able to put it together myself easily enough. One thing I did notice is that there were a few extra washers. The instructions don't say this, but I found they were useful to balance out the base to make sure the main post is straight/level. The stainless steel look is fantastic imo and the heater can put out A LOT of heat. I had previously bought a "firepit" style heater that uses the same propane tank and its pretty much useless. There is no comparison. This heater will definitely do the job for nice, warm backyard dinners with family and friends. The heater does provide warmth during the colder months. The unit is VERY unstable, and with any strong wind it will topple over. We have had it fall 3 times, doing damage to the unit. There is little room to put any type of weight in the base, and this is something that should be included in future designs of this model. This is not one of those little patio heaters you can get on clearance for $50 at the end of the winter. This sucker is yuge, definitely a 6-8 person heater well deserving of its $200+ price tag. It puts out major amounts of heat - perfect for my daughter's birthday parties which are in December and, after last year's very sudden 20-degree temperature drop, rapidly becoming a reason for us to have a little more luxury set up for our outdoor space in winter. This heater does require assembly and the directions are poor, but if you have any degree of experience putting things together with word salad instructions that have been halfheartedly translated from a foreign language, you'll do just fine. I was extremely pleased to see this product was wrapped top to bottom in protective scratch-resistant plastic as the last heater I purchased did not have this feature and it came out of the box extremely banged up. Speaking of that heater, it was one of the clearance kinds, and was $64 after Christmas. It's also only about 6.5 feet tall and takes a 10 gallon tank; about 4 people can comfortably fit around it and get a good amount of heat. I would say this product at 87 inches is about double the capacity both because it takes the 20 gallon tank and because on higher settings, it can easily put out enough heat for many people to comfortably stand around it. If I can offer up a tip, it would be to install the wheels on this product FIRST, as trying to apply them after the heater is fully built was very difficult. Otherwise I'm extremely happy with this product and the comfort level it will be offering us during the colder months and at winter parties. Recommended! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This has some plus' and some negatives that balance out my rating in the middle...BUT it performs great and I am happy with it. PROs +Great heat output. +Steady performance/flame, even in wind. +Easy operation +Looks decent. CONs -Instructions were bad! Not bad enough that you couldn't figure it out but missing instructions about where to put washers and one part had a step too soon and I had to unscrew it to complete the following step first, then redo. But you can figure it out with general know how. -Has a slight lean. I tried to correct it by bending arms with some success. -Some parts are a bit wonky. The top part has a slight wobble, the screws holding the flame cage on won't tighten. Also the top hat has an odd bend/shape to it, not terrible but it does. -Cover is pretty thin, hard to place on and isn't waterproof -Price...A bit on the higher side ... show more

The propane outdoor heater is quite a useful device. The heater comes with everything you need to provide adequate heat for outdoor residential or commercial settings. The heater is quite easy to put together. It is made of stainless steel and is quite sturdy. It assembles easily but given the bulk of the device I would recommend having two people work on it. The device assembled reasonably easily. It took roughly 1 hour to put it together. The propane tank attached without difficulty and the starter assembly worked very well. The heater fired up almost immediately. They provided adequate heat for 6 to 7 people sitting around it. It was actually quite warm after a while and even on fairly cold nights it was quite comfortable sitting outdoors. The heater works very well. It works outdoors on our deck but would be fine in any residential or commercial setting. We have not had any failures of the heater to start or operate properly. Overall this is a good device. It is attractive in stainless steel. It comes on wheels and with a cover so it is easy to move and protect off-season. I will say that it’s rather tall so I do move mine in very windy outdoor conditions. I would highly recommend this device if you’re looking for an outdoor propane heater. It is sturdy, attractive, and has plenty of amenities. ... show more
