I have been running my ANOLEX 4030-Evo Ultra2 machine since 7/25/2025, making notes of things I like and do not like. It has been cutting plastic and aluminum and doing a great job. I chose this machine because it has a generous Vertical Range where most others do not. I am very hapy with this machine and have recommended it to friends. Here are my thoughts: Very well packaged to protect during shipping Professional looking quality and finish Very sturdy components, Gantry and bed hardware is substantial and impressive Documentation is good but is missing some helpful information. WEB GUI is a great idea and was easy to connect to with iPhone XR and i16, BUT control has a substantial delay making it un-appealing and potentially troublesome ! I was unable to connect to WEB GUI Via WiFI from Windows 10 laptop and tablet*, not sure why ! I was unable to connect to WEB GUI Via USB from Windows 10 laptop and tablet*, not sure why *my tablet has NO anti-virus software Only able to connect using Grbl Candle with USB cable, which works great. Support has been helpful but, as with any overseas support, is sometimes slow to respond and while they were very helpful with regards to their machine they were not as helpful with things like the Windows COM issue I encountered and questions about Candle. To be fair neither are thier responsibility. CON's Limit switches are not detected individually. Controller does not know which end Axis it has stopped at Advertisement said machine is compatible with VCarve but no information was given on how to make that happen. VCarve support made suggestions that worked but require changing file extension from file name.gcode to file name.nc for Candle to find file. I later discovered a number of VCarve machine profiles will make compatible GCode I just have to either change the extension or remember to change FILE TYPE to ALL to see them. Emergency Stop Button looses Zero position. Button broke off 3rd time I hit. It is quite delicate which is surprising knowing that someone might hit it in a panic. Router spindle will not accept 1/4" bits past the end of the collet. installing a 1/4" bit shaft past the end of the collet causes the bit to be displaced at an angle. This is noticeable when manually rotating the shaft and observing the tip orbiting . DO NOT RUN A 1/4" BIT WITHOUT CHECKING ECCENTRICITY FIRST - also found 0.0025" runout in the machining of the taper for the collet. The shaft is good but the taper for the collet is out of center. I contacted support and they said that was within tolerance. CANDLE software: Pro's: was able to run a number of post processor files (various file-name.* extensions but do not know the limitations). Have not experienced any issues using *.gcode (from VCarve) and changing the extension to *.nc CON's: Limit Switches do NOT work when moving axis manually! Hitting Limit Switch looses Zero position Moving the router manually is easy to do with a full PC keyboard number pad but changing the manual feed speed requires clicking on the menu (touch screen on my tablet). Suggestions: MANUAL: software instructions include a picture of Windows showing the serial ports available. I Could not find that on all 3 of my PC's and WASTED hours because of it. Turns out it may NOT be necessary. Simply run CANDLE and check: SERVICE / SETTINGS / PORT to see if comm ports appear in the drop down menu. Try each one until STATUS (on the right of the window) shows IDLE.

This Anolex CNC Router Machine 4030-Evo Ultra 2 is very solidly built with high quality components. As such it is extremely accurate and delivers consistent results. I upgraded to a 4060 table size and replaced the router with an Anolex spindle for added versatility and control. This is a professional grade CNC in a tabletop footprint. At a very attractive price point, this is the one to get.

I am new to CNC router machines, so my experience level is limited. I purchased the 4030-Evo Ultra 2 through Amazon on a Black Friday deal, great value for the money. The machine was packaged very well with very fast shipping. Assembly was easy using the on-line video and instructions. I also purchased the spindle and closed-loop stepper motors for the Anolex system. Both the spindle and stepper motor installation instructions where on-line and the CNC setup took a lot of time to figure out. Once the system was up and running, I was very impressed with the cutting accuracy. I am using Vectric V-Carve software which works great with the Anolex CNC machine. Anolex customer service was very quick to answer my questions on the machine settings for the V-Carve software. I recommend the Anolex 4030-Evo Ultra 2 CNC machine.

I've been using the 4030-EVO Ultra 2, and it’s easily one of the sturdiest CNC machines I’ve worked with. It’s heavy, solid, and built to handle precision work. The ability to cut down to 0.001mm is a standout feature—it performs at a high level, whether you're working on detailed wood carving or other materials. Assembly was smooth thanks to clear, well-written instructions. I was able to get the machine set up and running quickly, even without prior experience on this specific model. I had a minor issue with the original control board early on, but the updated version resolved it completely. From comparing both versions, I can see how much thought has gone into refining the electronics and performance. It’s clear that the design has matured. Overall, the quality and performance of this machine exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a CNC that can deliver both power and precision, the 4030-EVO Ultra 2 is a great choice.

Very good CNC with 4 bearings on X and Y, and 2 on Z, they come properly greased and ready to use. Easy assembly and detailed instructions with colored pictures. It has a very generous z height compared to other CNCs, water bottle for reference. This was much larger than I expected, and they even have an upgrade kit for the Y axis for 4060. Comes with the 800w router that can be turned on/off with software. Plastic spacing/alignment tool makes it very easy to assembly. Great debris shielding on X and Y axis. Strong motors, upgrade to closed loop nema 23s as well. 1.5kw spindle upgrade available as well. Very heavy, solid construction, no issues running 1/4" endmill through aluminum without losing steps. I did my research on all of the machines out there and the best all around pick was this Anolex. Support replies back fast and even goes out of their way to support you as well.

This is one solid cnc machine! Very accurate and when paired with the 1.5kw spindle it is a beast. Whenever I buy something like this I always look to FB to see the user groups. the people on those groups have been very helpful in helping me get past my difficulties. the company is based I. China but the support has been amazing! one time i was careless and let a hold down clamp hit my limit switch, I reached out to the company and they sent me a free one within 4 days. I was torn about machine size vs accuracy and im glad I chose this one. the build volume is adequate but I just bought thier 4060 extension. final thoughts. great customer experience, accurate machine, good user group. and all within a good price point.

Great desktop cnc. Clear instructions. Assembled in a little over 1 hour. Cuts steel with light cuts, brass and aluminum with 1-2mm slotting depth. Impressed with this machine!
