    • Good addition to my smart lock family
Been using the Sifely gateway and lock on my front door for a while now, but hadn't gotten a deadbolt because I wasn't liking the existing designs and contacted the company to see if they had a similar design to my existing lock but in deadbolt form -- they didn't, but said they'd contact me as they were working on one that was due to release a few weeks later. I've heard this before and never hear anything back from the company, but not here, they contacted me the day the new lock was released and I jumped right on it. It's perfect, it matches the design of the lock I use for the door and provides extra security and peace of mind, it was just as easy to install as the previous lock and packaged very well, within about 5 minutes it was all installed and setup to work with my existing gateway. Using the app I can actually make it so both locks will unlock with the same cards, but it would be really cool if you could "link" two locks so both would unlock when one was unlocked. Perhaps a future version of the app could do this? As far as usability goes, it's great, the key cards work without having to get directly next to the lock, I have one on my ski jacket zipper so I can unlock the door without taking my gloves off or digging into my pockets, the physical keys are nice to have if things go wrong, and since I have a bit of experience with locks I re-keyed the new lock so the keys work in both locks. The fingerprint reader is a bit sensitive and fails about 20% of the times I use it, but I don't mind that, I'd rather it be too picky than not picky enough. I'll definitely be considering this brand when moving my apartment complex's locks to smart locks this summer. ... show more

I recently purchased this smart lock for my property, and I am very happy with its performance and features. This lock truly offers everything you could ask for in a smart lock. The fingerprint reader is incredibly responsive and convenient. The ability to generate temporary PINs through the app is also very easy. This feature alone makes it worth the investment, as it simplifies the check-in process. It also has physical keys for easy access in case the battery runs out, and this smart lock delivers on that front as well. I got this lock because I already have the handled version on another door of my house and it worked well enough. It's nice not to have two separate apps for the doors. Installation was easy and it works well. My finger print doesn't always work unless it's just the right angle. I do wish when adding a finger print that they would have you add multiple fingers so I didn't need a separate profile to use my left and right hand. Battery life seems to be excellent. First, I enjoyed the customer support very much during the chat. The reps were very patient and answered all my questions. There are many other smart locks on the market. The reason I finally chose this one has a lot to do with customer support. It gave me much confidence in buying it. It surely made my best decision. The smart lock is solid and easy to set up. It has all the functions you could ever wish from a smart lock. You can set the auto-lock for up to 900 (or 9000?) seconds delay. You can connect wifi (optional device required) to control it from anywhere. You can use fingerprint, key code, physical key, and key fab to unlock the door lock. Not sure how we have lived so long without this. We’ve needed to replace our door lock for a while now but kept putting it off. This lock was easy to install and set up, we should have done this months ago. No more keys, quick and easy to enter. App is easy to use and has a ton of features.
