This is a fun little lock to have in your house. It was very easy to install (took maybe about 20 minutes) and it works exactly as advertised. I was pleased enough that I bought two of them for my house. The fingerprint reader option may take a few attempts if you don't place your finger exactly in the middle of the reader but the way around this is just to create multiple records of your fingerprints. Super easy to install and set up. I’m not very handy, but I was able to replace my old deadbolt in about 15–20 minutes just using a screwdriver. The instructions were clear and everything fit perfectly. The app is surprisingly smooth and user-friendly. Adding fingerprints and passcodes was quick, and I love being able to manage access remotely. I set up a code for a friend who needed to stop by while I was out, and it worked flawlessly. The design also looks really clean and modern — it actually upgraded the look of my door. More importantly, it’s super convenient in daily use. No more digging for keys when my hands are full, I just use fingerprint or the app and I’m in within seconds. Overall, this has made my life a lot easier. I purchased this lock for my home to avoid having to deal with keys for people given permission to enter. Installation was easy if directions are followed and even watching youtube helps. I was aware it needed a Gateway to be able to remotely lock & unlock if away from home so I purchased it as well. I can use Alexa to operate lock if I am home and away from my phone. I love that it gives you battery message so you are aware if batteries are low. I can view activity to determine who and what time door was unlocked. Easy to install, and functions well. L9ve the convience of operation through my phone. I didnt expect that I would require to get a gateway to control lock if not right next to it. Once you get the gateway it's a seamless process. It should be sold as a set to understand the importance of it.
