    • Battery Life Sucks-replaced 32 batteries in 8 months

Battery life sucks. I had this lock for less than a year. The first 60 days was great. Afterward it began to give me issues. First, the inside push button when i pushed it to unlock for the inside , it fell inside the lock. Well that was ok. I figured I could work with that, I just had to now physically turn the knob. (no problem). Then it indicated that the battery need to be changed. Even though it had only been a few months of use. But i changed them (8 batteries). While a month later, it indicated that again, batteries need replaced. To make a long story short....I had the lock for 8 months and have replaced the batteries 4 times in 8 months . It requires 8 batteries. That a total of 32 batteries in 8 months. Wow that's getting close to the cost of the lock itself. smh. Of course support has NOT reached back with me. All I can say is you night be better off STAYING away for this one. ... show more

I have only installed the deadbolt part thus far, but plan to install the door handle soon. The install of deadbolt was pretty easy overall. The lock functions well, and I love having the option to use a key, fingerprint, and code. I installed the Tuya app as directed, but the part that is missing for me, is no way to lock or unlock the door from the app unless someone rings the bell. Also you cannot view the camera unless someone rings the bell. I was hoping those features worked stand alone, if I want to view the camera I could, or if I want to validate the door is locked via the app I could. I think if those two features were in the app, it would be 5 stars for me. ... show more
