I purchased a more expensive keypad lock from a big box retailer and didn't care for it. I gave this lock a try and I am totally impressed with it! -The instructions are so easy - QR videos are included for every step of the installation and use. I hate reading manuals so that was a huge plus. -The quality is very high. The mechanism feels very solid & secure and it looks great. -A low voice confirmation is provided when your door is locked/unlocked. This is a great feature. The other lock I was never sure if the deadbolt went all the way across into the door frame. Sometimes your door isn't closed perfectly. With this unit you are certain the door is secure. -The app is very easy to use and you can unlock/lock the door remote and have a log of actions at the door. -I have three kids. The transition to this keyboard lock was flawless. I should have done it years ago. -The keypad lights up for night time use. Some do not have this feature! -The replacement of this lock took 20 min. The short videos were fantastic. They thought of everything. Most functions can be accessed via the app. Some other locks you have to enter menus from the keypad which is confusing. I HIGHLY recommend this lock.

Installation instructions: Very small print; difficult to read. The most important instructions reduced to scanned app which is not available to those without a smart phone. Instructions are misleading: 1) One section indicates 4-AA batteries required - Page 14; another page indicates 8-AA batteries required - page 28, item 4; photo shows 8 - AA batteries - Page 26. Eight batteries very difficult to install. Could not get all 8. Very difficult to install interior assembly to backing plate. Needs nib protrusions between backing plate and interior assembly to keep packing plate in place while attempting to install very small attachment screws: Alternatively use self-starting screws. When operating for first time, the lock/unlock feature kept recycling. Had to remove battery to stop. Could not set the admin password. The center function button on the front of the lock is not identified - do not know what the function is. The set button the back of the interior assembly (below the battery chamber) might be the "set up" button; but could not identify the function because pressing the button produced no apparent results. This device needs some significant modification to be easily installed and used. Instructions have to be corrected with misspellings and incomplete sentences corrected.

I like the simplicity of the lock. I don’t use it with WiFi because it was draining the batteries a little fast, but it’s not necessary. When I did have it connected to the app, it was very easy to set up and I liked the features. The buttons feel good and easy to press to unlock quickly. The keyhole being exposed is also a good feature because some locks cover it and make it annoying to get in and out. Installation was very easy, I could do it myself within maybe 15 minutes without my husband’s help.

Good reliable lock with many useful features. Pretty easy to set up & install. All you need is batteries & a drill. I’d recommend to save the extra money & get the one without the fingerprint. The finger print feature doesn’t work well. You have to put your finger on it so many times, you end up just using the code.
