The media could not be loaded. The smart lock was easy to install and very convenient, I don’t need to bring my keys with me every time I walk my dog. I also really like the texture of this lock. There are so many options to use (fingerprint, code, card, APP and key). You can also set a one-time passcords for your temporary visitors when you are not home. And it has an automatic lock function that you can set in the APP, no need to worry about to lock the door. Would recommend this lock. ... show more

I could not get the lock to connect to my android phone the app says i need to turn on blue tooth which is already on. reset blue tooth restarted phone nothing changed. without the connection to the phone there is no way to set up the lock so it will unlock with any fingerprint and 123456 will open it. Can't use it like that so returning and purchase another brand without blue tooth. ... show more

I'll start off by saying that the lock itself is nice quality and seems very heavy and secure. Also, installing was a breeze. Only 5 screws plus the 4 for the deadbolt and deadbolt receiver plates. If you are just replacing an existing deadbolt like I did, it should take about 10-15 minutes. Naturally this will be longer if you are installing it without an existing lock and it will depend on your skill level. Once installed, set up was pretty easy after pressing the reset button on the lock as instructed and downloading the app for your phone. This lock connects over a Bluetooth connection on your phone. There is a short video you view to see how this is done. A QR code in the instruction manual will link to it. Once I had everything set up and ready to go, I tested the lock using the app on my phone. Here's where I ran into trouble. I could get the lock to unlock, but every time I tried to lock it in the app, it would make a noise as if it was trying to lock but it would never lock. After a few seconds, a red light starts flashing and beeping until I turn the lock manually. Not good. No matter how many times I reset the lock, deleted it from the app, and then re-added it, I could never get it to lock from the app. Unlocking worked every time with no issues. Not sure if this was just a bug with this specific lock but I cannot recommend this based on my experience. I did give it three stars based on the quality and ease of installation and setup. UPDATE: After many attempts at getting this to work, I started poking around the app and found a setting that needed to be changed. The instruction manual does not mention it, nor do the installation videos that the manual references. If you have this problem with the deadbolt not locking, go to the app and tap the wrench icon in the bottom right corner, then look for a setting called Motor Direction and change it. Mine was set to Right Handed Door so I had to change it to Left Handed Door and the lock started working. The problem I have now though is that I've found that the Lock status in the app isn't always accurate. If I unlock the door using the app and then someone locks it again after my phone is out of range, the app will still show the lock as unlocked and I have to press the lock button in the app to get it back in sync with the actual status. ... show more

The last digital lock that I had was a basic one that just could use a pin number of actual key. I was looking for something with more features. Initially looking at the description I though the lock comes WIFI ready but after receiving the lock I noticed that to use WIFI you must buy a WIFI gateway. The instructions that come with package doesn’t have enough information to do a setup but fortunately they point you a YouTube video posted on their website. The physical installation was very basic and easy to do specially after watching the video. The App setting was more challenging. After installing the App and signing up, it was able to detect the lock but unable to correctly lock and unlock until I changed the “Motor Direction” under setting to the “Left-Handed door”. At this point the lock was functional and let me to add new PIN and fingerprint. Pros: • Simple installation • Can unlock using fingerprint, PIN, Key fob, mechanical key, and the APP (App using the Bluetooth and must be very close to the lock to work). • Auto lock feature (the max time is 1 minutes) • Nice looking Cons: • Poor written manual Too vague and the picture are very small to help) • Fingerprint reader accuracy is around 50% meaning you must reposition the finger and try couple of time before it works • No real time customer support.
