He’s a general contractor so he of course installed it in minutes and then I programmed it within minutes as well. It looks good and works perfect! It says it can work with 4 batteries but if you use 8, it’ll work even longer so we put in all 8 batteries. Thrilled to no longer have to walk in through our main door to the mud room!

I purchased this keyless entry lock mainly for the fingerprint feature, and it works really well—quick and accurate recognition. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also came with key fobs, which adds extra convenience for guests or kids. This unit replaced my older KwikSet keyless system that lacked both Wi-Fi and fingerprint capabilities, so the upgrade has been significant. Setup was straightforward and installation was easy. My only gripe is the design—it functions like a modern lock, but its appearance feels a bit dated, more fitting for an older-style home. Overall, very satisfied with the performance and features.

Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly.... that being said: This lock now tops the charts for me. I am replacing my back door lock with this one mainly because I want all the conveniences I have with my front door. This lock is packed full of features, and my favorite is being able to ask Alexa to control the lock. It also includes 2 card key fobs, great for using when you just need to get the key close, but it also has 2 keys and multiple access methods including any number of programmed codes to assign to anyone you wish to give access. Through the app on your smart phone you can tell who is coming and going with a record of who unlocked the door with the time of day. You can also set up fingerprint access for even more convenience. This lock is a nice oil rubbed bronze color and is very sturdy and durable. The bolt moves in and out very smoothly, but also locks into place when locking to avoid being able to be 'bumped' open. Installation is super easy and the included instructions are very simple and clear. Installation only takes about 20-30 minutes including homing it to your wifi router and programming your access codes. Highy recommended product!

Okay, so I'm not exactly a tech whiz, but this SohoTeco smart lock has been a total game-changer for me! I was so over fumbling for my keys, especially when my hands were full of groceries (story of my life!). My hubby installed it pretty quickly – he's a bit handier than me, but even I think I could have managed it with the app's instructions. Seriously, the app walks you through everything, it's so easy! Connecting it to our WiFi was a breeze too. The fingerprint thing? Seriously cool! It unlocks SO fast, it feels like magic. And the keypad looks super sleek – I love the matte black. Plus, you can jumble the numbers when you type in your code so no one peeking over your shoulder can figure it out – genius! The app is awesome. I can see if I locked the door when I'm already halfway to work (major peace of mind!). And when my sister came to visit, I just gave her a temporary code through the app – so much easier than lending out keys. Honestly, this lock has made my life so much simpler and I feel way more secure. It looks great, works like a charm, and I don't have to dig through my purse for keys anymore. Win-win-win! The instructions and software are not well written -- very obviously translated to English from another language, and often confusing, sometimes silly. Due to that, I installed the lock incorrectly the first time. Instructions said customer service would respond to email within 24 hours but in my case it was over a week. Aside from that, the product is good and works well. I especially like the included little tap-cards that will open the door with one tap. Haven't tried the fingerprint feature.. Worth noting: the key codes have to be 6 digits. My old lock only required 4, which I would have preferred.

This is the best keyless entry we have had! We have several on our home, but this one has so many fabulous features. Not only can you use a code, but fingerprint and included fab opens the door, too! I love that it can lock in just one touch. It also has Wifi, so we can remotely access the lock and get notifications once people come in or leave. Those who have teenagers will love this because there's no sneaking in or out with this keyless lock! Alexa can even open the lock for you! But, the key works as well. Definitely use the app to install it because the directions in the box are not complete. It does not take long at all to install, maybe a 1/2 hour with having to download the app and use all the ways to lock/unlock it. I will definitely be getting another. This would make a fabulous Christmas, birthday, or wedding present! I love it and highly recommend it!
