I purchased this electronic deadbolt to match my new door handles for my front and back doors. It was pretty simple to install, fairly inexpensive, and works well. It has a set button under the back plate, where the batteries go. The instructions are in English, and easy to follow. It matches beautifully with the castle style door handles I got. I love that the finish is matching on the front and back, instead of silver colored on the outside, and black on the inside of the door. It's not particularly noisy, if someone is coming in, you will hear it beep as they press buttons, and hear the lock turn, and as you leave, you can hear it lock behind you, when you press the lock button from outside. Since the set button is concealed on the inside of the house, behind the battery cover, no worries of someone changing the code from the outside. This model doesn't have wifi, so it can't be hacked either. Im very pleased with this purchase, the finish, the looks, and the security of this lock, and it is low priced. The installation was a cinch. The coding was a nightmare. Kept getting red lights and beeping. I finally "rebooted" the cable connection, and it magically worked. I got green lights. And I was able to use a 4-digit code and turn OFF the auto lock!

I bought this in October 2024, I still did not have to change the battery, it works very well. We have disabled the autolock mechanism because it was a bit annoying. It really works very well, I have had bought expensive Kwikset digital locks before and they were eating up batteries every few weeks. Very happy and satisfied with this lock. ... show more

We had this lock for 16 months. And it's broken. We contacted the company. It's over a year old so out of warranty. I followed there instructions to reset it and that failed. It's jamming up and doesn't work. We were locked out of our house. Good thing we could get in through our garage. I don't recommend this lock. I'll just get a regular lock and carry a key when I run. ... show more

This is the second one I purchased, the first is on a side door. Once that had worked reliably for a year, I got this one. Color is classy, installation fairly easy. Like many of these automated locks, you may have to push or pull your door in slightly when engaging, but that's honestly the same thing you'd do if you were using a key. I’ve used quite a few electronic locks over the years, and unfortunately this one didn’t meet my expectations. As soon as I unboxed it, I could tell the build quality felt pretty lightweight—definitely on the cheaper side. I was hoping it would be a solid budget option, but it just didn’t inspire much confidence. There’s no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi functionality, which I knew going in, but I had hoped the overall feel and usability might make up for that. It didn’t. The lock is very basic—keypad entry only—with no smart integration or app-based control. If that’s all you’re looking for, it might work, but for me, it felt too limited and not durable enough for front door use. I ended up returning it.
