At first I was a little dissapointed that this particular model only has a one cup reservoir and not the standard, multiple cup reservoir. There are times when I want to make more than one cup but not often enough for it to be a serious problem. We have had a standard keurig in the kitchen for years. We have a lot of club gatherings and serve coffee to guests. But the standard keurig takes up a lot of counter space when we are not having guests. So we bought this much smaller unit. It is refurbished but it has some quirks. First it has no automatic shut off. I loaded up the water reservoir and made our first cup of coffee. After the cup filled, it kept pumping until the reservoir was empty. So you have to manually operate it by hitting the power button when your cup is full. Second, its SLOW. and LOUD. It takes FOREVER to get a cup of coffee out of the thing. Plan on two minutes every cup. And once you do that first cup and hit the on/off button to keep from spilling all over the counter, it starts its pumping, heating, pumping cycle all over again for the second cup which is two minutes away. And it sounds like a D6 dozer starting up on a cold morning. Lots of grinding, whirring and banging to get that cup that is always two minutes away. Third its not HOT. The water comes out in a range of temperatures from just tepid to warm but never HOT. I have to stick each TWO MINUTES AWAY cup into the microwave to get it HOT. Sadly my lovely wife loves it (she doesn't use it. I make her tea for her) and I am probably stuck with it. Great concept. Counter friendly. Pretty to look at. Use this mini for travel. Not all hotels have a coffee maker or not good coffee. I can have my starbucks or dunkin donuts coffees just like home
