Got this for daughter's birthday. When opened the screen seemed scratched (maybe a used unit???). It's a very simple device. Easy to assemble. A little bit heavy for my 7yo daughter to move around, but she loves it. We first tested it at home (hiding metal items in shoes or under books) and it did seem to work.
