I am keeping this lamp because I need a 3-way standing lamp for my living room. However, I am disappointed that the color is NOT dark burnished bronze as advertised. It is a dark bluish gray. I like the quality of the lamp; it was easy to put together and is not a light weight lamp.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!!! I bought this lamp on sale and waited for delivery. The day before it was due to be delivered, I received an email saying it was out of stock. The minute it came in, I checked their amazon page and found IT IN STOCK, but being sold for twice the price. I contacted amazon and told to do some things, and things would be made right. That didn’t happen. And I’m screwed. I’m absolutely had to have a lamp of this style on a swing arm with 3 way brightness and I’m just to tired after surgery to keep shopping and comparing items. So the company cannot be trusted. Also it is not burnished bronze. Its gunmetal black. I hate it. But it was easy to put together. Its simple and cheaply made. It is a true 3 way. ... show more

I put this together myself. There were no instructions included. So I laid it out the way logically it should go and had it together in no time at all. No tools required. The glass shelf is quite sturdy.. the metal band around the glass would be the part to be careful with. But normal use should not be an issue. The shelf is taller than others U looked at and that works perfect close to my chair. The lamp shade is in proportion to the lamp and is of good quality. The lamp base and stand is a great weight. Its heavy but not too heavy. Certainly not a flimsy product at all. Frankly, I was surprised given the price being at the lower price point. The color is not what I would call oil rubbed bronze. I purchased this lamp as used but shipped through Amazon. The quality was excellent but the lamp was NOT bronze. It was a very dark gray. Nothing at all like the picture on Amazon. I thought maybe I got an odd ball one but I did a search of reviews for the word "color" and another reviewer said the exact same thing. I'm very disappointed because aside from the color, the lamp was very nice. I'm attaching a pic of the lamp with a couple of my current lamps. My lamp on the left is oil rubbed bronze. The lamp on the right is the color I expected this lamp to be based on the Amazon listing pictures. Maybe this one is an anomaly. Just make sure you can return it if you order one and it comes in as gray instead of bronze. ... show more
