You definitely get a lot of pieces in this set, so that is a perk, plus I really liked the black, has a nice look to it. I did end up returning this set because it was a little lighter weight than I was looking for - I have some other wheat straw bowls and they were twice as thick. These were not flimsy or bendable by any means - just not as heavy as I wanted. These would definitely be great for picnics or casual dining.

I purchased the coastal set. The colors are as pictured and very pretty. We live in SW Louisiana and spend most of our time outside. I had a terrible wrist/arm break with a fracture that has led to me constantly dropping everything. All dishes arrived intact with no damage. The variety of plate sizes is exactly what I was looking for, they are very light weight but sturdy. They stack nicely and take up a lot less room than traditional dishes. This one set replaced my two previous sets of daily dishes and left me with an entire shelf now freed up for something else. If I had a complaint, it would be that the cups are more like a juice cup size and not a full glass size. I'm happy with this purchase, it checks all the boxes for me.

I cannot tell you how these react when used in a microwave, we have never done so. Yes! Finally plated my kids can’t break. They are the perfect size and come with two plates sizes. One is like a dinner plate then the other is slightly smaller for like a lunch plate. I use the smaller size for my grandkids who are 4 and 6 which makes it easy for them to hold. I like the colors they come in. They are great in the microwave. And super easy to wash. The cups hold 8oz of fluid so makes it easy to know who much you’re drinking. So far they haven’t chipped or broken. They also have a cute design on the plate that doubles as a grip so you don’t drop them. I like the fact they are a reusable source of wheat plastic .

I love these dishes! The colors are beautiful. I bought a set of cups prior to purchasing the dishes. I was so happy with them that I looked for dishes. They are super light weight and perfect for my weak hands. The only downside is they scratch when using a knife. I noticed it after using a sharp steak knife. But that being said, I would still recommend them. Every time I use them I enjoy them.
