Purchased this heater to heat water in a tank to do water baptisims at out church. The heater worked great. The thermostat control was excelent. Did use a fountain pump to circulate the water. Note: we removed the heater before using the tank for the baptisms.

I feel I have to write a review. Got it for outdoor tub and worked great for like three times. Not sure why but Amazon said contact manufacturer and manufacturer only has email which I wrote and they said contact Amazon. In the meantime $130 + is out of the window?

    • This is a solid product.
You don’t want the cheap 60 dollar Esther heaters you want this. This is amazing. I first got the 60 dollar ones. And it broke. But also. It takes these things a long time to heat up a tub. So having the thurmustat built in is great. On the other I had to buy a seperste one. And it kind of didn’t work well. This has a very simple temperature gage knob on the top. So you just set it to a temperature. Our tub is plastic so I was afraid it will burn it as it leans on the side. It didn’t. So now Make sure you unplug it before getting in the water. The tub. There is always a change with a shirt on any electric device. S human can touch a bare wire and live. But if there is water it will kill you. Don’t take the chance. This thing can hear water in the 200s. My bathtub has jets but the apartment was poorly designed with a small water heater. Now I fill the water and use it to epson salt soak and can get a few soaks out of it. Also. It’s but. Id say 10-12 inches. Looks smaller in photo. Just know all heaters take time. Like hours. It set it up the night before etc. ... show more

    • A great immersion heater to heat a vessel of water.
Heats water quickly and you can regulate the temperature... I have used many immersion heaters of many brands... This is the best one I've come across in many years, due to the quality of construction and reliability.. If you're heating a bucket of water I suggest putting a ceramic plate or something non conducive in the bottom to protect the vessel you are trying to heat... If you're heating a larger/deeper vessel you should be fine.. Remember to never come in contact with the water unless it has been unplugged.. Have heated more than 30 5 gallon buckets with no issues... Great product. 4.5 stars from me. Only wish they came in different depths.. But overall an Excellent product. ... show more

    • It is working okay.
It heats up the water. The only thing that I am not satisfied about is I have to wait for long time. To heat up a 5 gallon bucket to 140 F, it took 40 mins and 104 F took 30 mins. It is longer than boiling a big pot of water over the stove.
