Well designed. Ceramic lined. EXCELLENT CONTROL PANELS. I like the wire connections better than my previous HW heaters - easier to connect. It heats quickly, and; isn't too heavy for one person to handle ( empty of course ). I have not (yet) swapped the heating rod, but; the nice feature it also has - the ROD is mounted sideways ( so getting the rod out doesn't run into wires and pipes ). GREAT VALUE, GREAT PRICE. EASY TO INSTALL. A personal recommend, if you don't already have - install SHUT OFF VALVES for both HOT and COLD side, AND, a BYPASS so that you can still have WATER if the HW heater is in need of maintenance. I was happy that the existing CPVC pipes did not require more than trim and coupling on the final connections. I strongly also recommend, for do-it-yourself, that you PLAN ahead. LOOK at what you have, closely, catalog the connections, wires, breakers, etc. It saves effort and time along the way! ... show more

We installed and the on the seam started leaking..Hant chatted with company yet to see if they do a replacement and instalation costs as now we have to pay to have another one installed. To be continued

This water heater suits our tiny house perfectly. My only complaint was that the relief valve is NOT included. We've been using it for 6 months and while it does take about a half hour to heat up for 15 minutes of hot water, it works for us.
