  • Perfect cheap scribing kit for gunpla
Bought this for my gunpla hobby and the scribes and chisels in it work well for scoring and altering Gundam plastic, it's easy to use and the bits stay in well. Was well worth the money for how much it costs.

  • A good quality kit
Lots of good stuff in this kit! I didn't care for the drill bits but the panel line tool and tweezers get a lot of use.

  • The scribing tool is what I was most after.
Everything is solid. The tweezers however are useless. It showed up as advertised.

  • Good kit
Perfect kit for my model building

  • Okay for beginners
Okay kit for starting out with models and detailing. Comes in a bag for storage. Bits are fairly stiff/rigid, but are brittle, which can be a hit for longevity and long term durability. For someone starting out, it'll do the job. However, for those that are more experienced in the model making hobby, I would find another kit. ... show more

  • As expected
As expected but cheap scribing tips are what you paid for so keep that in mind. Doesn't carve very cleanly but it works.

  • Well-made kit. Hard to find chisels. Finger bit holder is good to have on hand. Well-made kit. Hard to find chisels. Finger bit holder is good to have on hand.
PRODUCT: "Model Kit with Scribing Tools, Pin Vise Hand Drill Set, Tweezers, Brushes for Modelling Gundam Models, Metal Kits, Car and Aircraft Kits for Sscribing, Engraving, Panel lines, Resin,Detailing by DULIWO" --------------------------------------- LIKE: The Brush is nice with super fine but fairly stiff bristles. But, Nylon bristles and a wood handle, and they call it Anti-Static? My anti-static brushes have static conductive handles, and conductive bristles to bleed off static charge to avoid damaging sensitive electronic components. They are used with anti-static mats and wrist straps. Granted, this probably won’t be used that way, but I’m thinking “antistatic” is misleading. I flicked the brush bristles and touched them to dry coffee creamer powder, and I can see the static charge shaping the creamer that is stuck to the brush. On the plus side, I flicked the bristles again, and it all flicked off, leaving no detectable powder on the brush. That’s a good thing during cleanup where static discharge isn’t an issue, but I wouldn’t risk using this to brush off a circuit board with ESD sensitive components. Hand Drill: The Largest drill bit that “just” fits into it is: 5/32” or a 4mm sizes. It completely closes at its tightest, so all smaller bits would work OK. It comes with 10 Metric mm bits: 3.0, 2.8, 2.5, 2.2, 2.0, 1.8, 1.5, 1.2, 1.0, 0.8mm Go slow, and especially with the smallest ones. When breaking through material, they might catch and that’s when they tend to break with the added torque. I’ll use this between thumb and fore finger with the end pushed against area where the two fingers meet (thumb-pit?) (found it: "purlicue”) The Drill bit twist driver handle is aluminum except for steel jaws. It can hold bits from zero size to just barely 4mm maximum. The largest size in this 10-bit kit was 3mm. (All tiny drill bits are super easy to break. I have to be very careful using them. For critical sizes, I keep multiple spares on hand.) ----- I just tried to fit the small bag with all the Drill bits in it into the hollow Chisel holder. The bag with the bits in it all fit into that handle, and the cap closes it!! (And I won’t need to close off the hole in the tip that the chisels insert through.) Tweezers are stainless steel (non magnetic). The jaws have a smooth surface (not textured). The tips actually lined up well, and didn’t distort easily sideways while using them. Chisel bit holder handle is aluminum except for steel set screw. I did notice that the chisel holder handle “end cap” can pop off, and the handle is hollow. The cap has an O-Ring, that fits into a recessed ring slot as the cap is inserted. It actually holds pretty well. The hole holding the chisel goes all the way inside the handle, so if you were to store the chisel tips in the handle, that hole would need to be covered (cotton ball?) or the chisels could get lost through that hole. It might be a place to store the drill bits though? I’d also put something soft over the inside end cap, so the chisel tips can’t hit it and get dulled. (I expect to keep the chisel tips in the case they arrived in. It’s easier to find the size I need.) Chisels are in a case along with a spare set screw and a 2mm Allen Wrench. The chisels can move in their spots. The tips could hit the allen wrench. I moved the set screw and allen wrench to last empty chisel slot, with the set screw on the tip of wrench and it is pressed into the slot. The top of the allen wrench I positioned against the top. It now stays stationary. I then flipped the chisel tips end for end so the tips all face the other end of the case where they can’t get dulled on anything there. The chisels actually came pretty sharp. These are so small that it wouldn’t take much time to sharpen them when needed. (fine wet/dry fine sandpaper grits on a quarter inch thick flat glass pane, and a way to hold the angle.) I measured the tips with a digital caliper. The smaller 3 sizes were tough to measure, and it tapers down to the tip, so I was trying to get the very tip. It was telling me that the tip might be .5 to 1mm larger than shown. BUT eyeballing them they “appeared” smaller than next size. The larger sizes were pretty close. I will be using the chisels for finessing 3D printed models. Does this come with a case to hold it all? No, but it does include a small pinch tight bag, and the chisel blades DO come in a nice case along with an allen wrench and spare set screw. The Drill bits are just in a smaller plastic bag, unsealed at the end once it’s cut open. ----- I just tried to fit the small bag with all the bits in it into the hollow chisel handle. The bag and bits all fit and the cap closes it!! ALL of the items CAN fit back into the small squeeze-tight pull to open bag that comes in the box. --------------------------------------- ... show more

  • Micro chisels, that's what I needed. Micro chisels, that's what I needed.
I don't usually work with Gundam models, but I often need to make corrections to 3D printed parts. Since I'm new to this and my printer is quite slow, I sometimes prefer to fix things manually. This set of micro chisels is perfect for the task because they are thin yet sharp. The handle securely holds the chisels, allowing me to use them without the risk of cutting myself. The set includes seven different sizes, ranging from 2.0 mm to 0.1 mm, which is a major advantage. I've found that when I attempt to make small cuts with a traditional cutter, I often struggle to apply the right amount of force. Using the micro chisels allows for more precision, and I finish the corrections by filing and then smoothing the surface with a small heat gun that I already own. Additionally, I find the micro drill bit very useful since standard drills or multi-tools can be too large to access tight spaces. ... show more
