I bought this for my wife. She likes having ice on-demand. It worked great for a while and the ice is the best. Small chewable ice. Unfortunately the machine started making this loud screeching noise and we had to keep shutting it off. I emailed the help line. I answered a couple questions and next thing I knew I had a replacement Ice Machine at my door. It is up and running and we are loving it and the ice! We would definitely recommend.

I definitely recommend! It makes perfect nugget ice. The push button dispenser makes it very convenient. The machine is easy to operate and easy cleaning. The instructions are clear. Remember to follow the cleaning instructions. I use filtered alkaline water in mine, but if you’re using tap water, you might need to clean more often. Very Happy with this purchase.

I bought this, hoping that it would be the replacement for my current countertop unit that you have to scoop out the ice. I can’t control who’s in my environment and I guess you can say that I’m a German for. I just can’t stand the thought of someone reaching in to pick up an ice cube because they just wanted one. This would’ve solve the problem. However, unlike my countertop unit, the ice that melts doesn’t generate new ice so you have a constant supply. The first couple of days we got it we’re great! We were using it and loving it. Then we went away for the weekend. When we came back, no ice with dispenser and you could hear the auger turning but you couldn’t hear any ice in the bed. I tried to find access to the bin and could not and verified through , the seller that you cannot access the ice bin. That was very frustrating so I felt like it made it difficult to troubleshoot. We had a Fourth of July barbecue at our house. I was so excited to show everyone my new icemaker! But I was embarrassed instead. It produced so little ice that the first person who got ice really got all the ice. It does make ice within eight minutes, but who has time to sit there and wait for it to make ice so your guests can have a drink? We ended up having to go buy a bag of ice instead. After this fiasco, I decided to do some investigating. Before bed I emptied the machine of all the water, and then I refilled it and then I programmed it to make ice. In the morning, I couldn’t believe it. I had to measure it twice. It only gave me 4 cups of ice. So this time instead of empty all the water out, I just re-added water and ran the ice until it ran out of ice. This time I seem to get a little bit less but it was still roughly 4 cups of ice. I was shocked! It’s a very big machine and takes up a lot of countertop real estate, so I thought the holding capacity would be much larger. I wrote the manufacture and ask the questions about how many cups of ice does it make at a time and how much does that bin really hold. Instead the return that I got back was about the troubleshooting steps that I had already done. I did not find their customer service in that regard to be very helpful at all and so I decided to return this unit. It’s a very nice unit though!

Love the icemaker at first, but it quickly started to fail as it would unexpectedly shut down and stop making ice until you unplugged it and plugged it back in. All the lights come on as shown in the picture which is an indication it stopped working. Absolutely loved it at first because it’s easy to fill with water and makes great ice plus the price is very reasonable as well for it being a nugget ice machine with dispenser. Looks like y’all need a 3.0. By the way, it fits perfectly on top of a water cooler! The only other thing I would say that needs to be improved as The drip tray needs to be secured to hold weight as it’s only held on by magnets so it’s easy to knock off. Keep working on it y’all cause I love it but not if it’s going to fail

I love that this ice maker makes the perfect nugget ice and that it dispenses at the touch of a button. It’s easy to refill and empty when needed. The largest negative with this machine is that it does drop stray pieces of ice as it’s making ice. I use the funnel it comes with and a small glass the catch the ice so they don’t land on the counter or floor. It’s not cute, but it is effective. The tray will not catch it all. It’s also fairly loud when it’s in “making ice” mode. However, none of that would keep me from purchasing another one when this one eventually dies. I’ve only had it a couple of months, but I no longer have to get ice weekly from the store and I have free space in the freezer. It fits under in the counter under standard cabinets.

I purchased this for my terminally ill father. Due to medications he was taking he was often thirsty and had dry mouth. This machine was exactly what we had been looking for. It produces “Sonic” ice that’s soft and chewable.

It spits out ice onto the floor...the ice tray doesnt Catch anything. it is constantly going into cleaning mode at least every other day without anybody initiating the sequence. we have had it for almost 2 weeks. WE LOVE THE ICE IT MAKES. The maintenance on this thing is what deteriorates its value. i dont mind adding water. It's just messy when we arent using it and when we do want to use it...all of a sudden it's in cleaning mode and we cant get ice during that time!!! we try waiting it out after a couple hours and then we end up unplugging it...disconnecting the hoses to evacuate the water ...turn it on again. and refill...ughhhhhhhhh

We have had the ice maker set up and using it for about five days now. It works great. It is a little on the noisy side. If we did not have an open-concept Kitchen and living room or if we had a butler pantry we could put this in, then it would be perfect. We did have to turn it off one night because we were watching a movie and the machine was pretty noisy. Other than the noise, so far, we have been very happy with it. I will post an updated review if that changes. Things I recommend for the next model is working on the noise level. Ease of use and functionality is great. The ice was great from the very first glass, texture and tase are good.
