Great fridge ! This was an excellent investment. It is a compact design perfect for our small kitchen. Our old fridge which was about 40% larger, finally gave up the ghost after 7 years and we decided to get a smaller one as we didn't use much of the space in the old one. The fridge got cold very quick after plugging in and had ice made in my ice cube trays after about 2 hours ! Not bad! It makes absolutely no noise at all (the light is on inside when you open it and everything is chilled nicely.....that's the only way you know it's on!) It has a very nice brushed metallic exterior which was protected by the same type of covering you peel off screens and all the shelves were secured very well for shipping. The EnergyStar specs shows it sips electricity at only about 12 CENTS a DAY! It came with all the parts to change which side it opens with, but it was already setup to open in my desired direction. Overall I am very pleased with this refrigerator . It looks very modern and stylish, has the perfect amount of space for our kitchen and it keeps my groceries perfectly cold and/or frozen. After not having a working freezer for about 2 months, I am really enjoying having ice cubes again! Upstreman was also very responsive to all inquiries that I made and were great to deal with. Spacious storage for the unit's width, depth and height. Temperatures in the freezer and frig have been near perfect. No frost in the freezer. It would be nice if the freezer had a light but for the price to performance ratio, that is a quibble I fixed DIY with a <$10 rechargeable, motion-sensing light strip. ... show more

Fit, finish, and packaging all excellent. Sort of a pain to change the hand of the door. Of course not everyone will need to do that. It's a 2 person job. I like the external appearance, the lighting and shelves are excellent, and seems well made. Very quiet.

I haven't had this fridge for more than a few days, but I am impressed. I wasn't sure if I could actually have enough space because it was replacing a large absorption model in my motorhome. It is smaller than what I had in terms of gross size and will be built in next week but it performs so much better than the old one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to replace an absorption model or if you just want extra space. I love it! ... show more
