I am so excited!!! I called Customer Service to tell them of the early demise of my Kalorik Air Fryer/ Oven/Grill after only 4 months. Today August 16, 2022 I received a new oven!!!! I am so happy for the replacement oven! Customer Service was wonderful and, obviously, the Company stands behind their products!!! That’s a win-win!!! Thank you, Kalorik! Previous Review I am so sad!     • Stopped working in a month, Amazon said they'd replace it, then told me they wouldn't
Amazon return horror story. Lied to by customer service about receiving a replacement after it stopped working after one month. Bought this for my sister for Christmas, she wanted a $100 air fryer and I wanted to get her something really nice so this was a big surprise for her and her boyfriend. She loved it, followed all of the instructions, there was never any indication of anything being wrong with it. Just over a month later it shut off while she was using it. She thought it was the outlet so she plugged it into a different one and it still wouldn't turn on. The original outlet was working when she plugged in a different device. I contacted Amazon and was told the return window was up (it had passed by TWO DAYS, and btw a one month return window for something that's $300 is absurd) but I was thankfully told by the rep that "upon checking we can do a one time exemption for a refund or a replacement. Which one would you like?" (I took pictures of the chat where I was told this) I chose the replacement because my sister loved the air fryer when it was working and still wanted one. I was told that the return label would arrive via email within 24 hours and to drop off the defective air fryer to a UPS drop off location and we would receive the replacement. Few days later, there's no email with a return label. So I chat again and I'm immediately told that the information I received wasn't true and there was nothing they could do, and the representative LEFT the chat. So I went to chat again, and then asked to speak to some kind of supervisor, and was given the same regurgitated response over and over again. They asked if there was anything else they could help me with and I replied, "Yes, the replacement I was told I was receiving to be honored. It's unacceptable to be told I'm receiving a return label to initiate the replacement and then just be later told that it was never true." If you mistakenly tell a customer that, then at least honor it. Instead of helping or being even remotely kind, the "supervisor" Anil instead ended the chat on me. The equivalent of being hung up on, and this is Amazon's support for a $300 item? I've never left a review, especially a bad one......but is this reality? ... show more

    • Does anyone remember the Easy Bake Oven (EBO)?
We call our Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer Oven Grill Combo...E.B.O. (Easy Bake Oven). So very easy to use, even for a luddite such as myself! 3 years ago our Caloric (different company) gas oven (circa 1950) failed and almost gassed us to death! We tried to find a safe gas replacement for this unit to no avail. We have a small gally kitchen which is original to the house. Without gutting the kitchen to bring in a new large modern oven there was no option except to look else ware. I studied what was available and found the Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer Oven Grill Combo. This small frame electric oven fits safely within the frame of our old 1950's Caloric and for the past 3 years it has cooked more meals than our old oven did in the same timeframe. Because it bakes and air-fry's it is much more useful. Surprisingly, EBO, is able to cook an entire 10lb turkey which is more than enough for empty nesters such as ourselves. So, if you have limited space and wish a great small electric oven/air fryer/rotisserie combo then EBO (Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer Oven Grill Combo) will likely be great for you! ... show more

I've had this unit for about 2 weeks now and love it. Always trying new recipes. Chicken Rotisserie works great. Takes 45 minutes to cook and chicken is not dry. The most difficult part of this recipe is putting the chicken on the skewer. :) Coconut Shrimp came out great and better than any restaurant. Wings took a little longer than the recipe called but was worth the extra time. Chicken fell off the bone and was great. Other favorite dishes are Eggplant Parmesan and my favorite go to vegetable - Pesto Carrots with Goat Cheese. Unit is very easy to use. Plenty of presets to choose and help you get started. I do wish I could change the defaults for some settings to what I will be using most of the time. Not a deal breaker since it's so simple to adjust time and temp. Cleaning the pans was easy by sink or by dishwasher. Cooking the rotisserie chicken, I thought it would be a mess inside, but it just took a simple wipe down. I will be ordering another one for my elderly parents. They'll be able to use this simple to use oven and get great tasting dishes. ... show more

    • After I manage to get it to turn on, it's amazing
The sequence to get it to turn on is confounding snd frustrating. Everything is fine until I push the Start button, which works only with a very specific push, which I haven't figured out what that is. I usually end up making it turn off and have to start the sequence all over again, multiple times. That is the frustrating part. The only other thing that could be better is there is no way to tell when you are up to temp to start your food, i.e. no preheat notice ... show more
