I received this yesterday and made several things last night. The doors didn’t work right and would close and open separately or sometimes one would open and the other one would stay locked closed. I was reaching in and the left door closed unexpectedly and burned the back of my hand. I had to have something nearby to prop that door open so that wouldn’t happen. Also, there is a large gap between the doors. I was making something today (I’ve not even had this thing for a full 24 hours!) and it quit right in the middle of cooking! Tried other outlets, tested outlets to make sure I hadn’t tripped a fuse…. Nope: it just died. Not sure if I got a lemon and should reorder another one or just send back and get another brand but I’ve since read that others have had the same issue and not to count on the company for customer service. To make things worse, it’s Monday morning and the garbage truck just took the box! I’m sending back anyway in a big brown box because I JUST got it YESTERDAY! So disappointed in the extremely poor quality and the wasted time setting up and washing all the parts just to be disappointed when it died less than 24 hours in. I have had a Phillips for many years that never fails me! Its been wonderful but I just wanted a larger one. Clearly, I chose the wrong one. Also, the inside doesn’t appear to be stainless and I saw another review describing it as a fire hazard. I don’t know how it got a single good review! Save yourself the disappointment and just get a different brand. 😢

Very good air fryer and conventional oven so you don't need to fire up the gas oven especially in super heat. Preheats quickly and cools down quick as well. The wire basket does French fries very well and is roomy enough for a 5+lb spatchcocked chicken with an additional couple of thighs. The rotisserie not so much. It's very difficult to get the spit through where the chicken revolves in a balanced way and only quite small chickens, under 4 lbs, will rotate without rubbing on the drip pan. I've never tried the grill since I feel that a frying pan is an easier clean up than a whole oven. It does oven bake frozen desserts like apple blossoms from Trader Joe's splendidly. Again they will be done while my gas oven is still preheating.

I've had this unit for about 2 weeks now and love it. Always trying new recipes. Chicken Rotisserie works great. Takes 45 minutes to cook and chicken is not dry. The most difficult part of this recipe is putting the chicken on the skewer. :) Coconut Shrimp came out great and better than any restaurant. Wings took a little longer than the recipe called but was worth the extra time. Chicken fell off the bone and was great. Other favorite dishes are Eggplant Parmesan and my favorite go to vegetable - Pesto Carrots with Goat Cheese. Unit is very easy to use. Plenty of presets to choose and help you get started. I do wish I could change the defaults for some settings to what I will be using most of the time. Not a deal breaker since it's so simple to adjust time and temp. Cleaning the pans was easy by sink or by dishwasher. Cooking the rotisserie chicken, I thought it would be a mess inside, but it just took a simple wipe down. I will be ordering another one for my elderly parents. They'll be able to use this simple to use oven and get great tasting dishes.

Cheaply made. Main control button fell off. Pretty much useless now. Purchased in Oct 2025. I will attempt to contact the Manufacturer for remediation. Will update this review with results. In the meantime buyer beware Additional note: the Amazon page for support of this product does not list the manufacturer's website. Update 04/09/2026 Received a call from Kaloric quite promptly on Monday. They are working to remediate my issue. Changing star rating from 1 to 4, pending outcome of service center next action. This is my first experience with an air fryer. My friends kept telling me to get one, but I was apprehensive about buying one, mainly because I thought it just wouldn't compare to an actual fryer or oven. First off, I love the way the air fryer looks. I went with this model because the stainless steel and French doors make it look really sharp and sophisticated. It looks the same in real life as it does in the advertised pictures. Second, it pre-heated so quickly! I set the temperature at 500 degrees and it finished preheating in less than 10 minutes! My regular oven would have struggled for half an hour before even reaching 400 degrees. Third, it made some amazing grilled salmon! I tried out this recipe from the little booklet that came with the air fryer, and it turned out sooooo good. I usually make roast salmon in my oven, and it takes about 30 minutes to cook through. The salmon cooked through perfectly in 10 minutes in the air fryer! I was shocked. And it tasted better too. It had a nice crispy crust to the exterior but was still soft and succulent on the inside. Perfect dinner. I am excited to try out more recipes like the grilled steak and pulled pork. Honestly, I thought the asking price was a bit steep for this product before receiving it. But now that I've used it and see how it looks in real life, I'm surprised it doesn't cost more! Overall, a great product, and I highly recommend going with this one if you're looking for a great first air fryer experience.

I'll start with the fact that the unit was VERY well packaged and arrived on time. It did come with a grill maxx kit that I was not expecting. Once unboxed, the first thing I noticed was the really thin two wire power cord. This actually became the deal breaker for me. During operation the wall plug became too hot to touch. This is dangerous as this also heats up the wires inside the wall making for a potential fire. The next thing I noticed was that the interior light was not working. I checked the bulb and found it to be burned out. So, that began an email exchange with Kalorik to have them send me a replacement light bulb. There's even instructions for replacing and ordering a new bulb from the manufacturer. The phone number for Kalorik was disconnected so email was the only way to get resolution for warranty claims. The customer relations person advised to return the unit instead of simply sending me a replacement light bulb. This seems to be a case of the manufacturer taking advantage of Amazon's generous (mostly) return policy instead of honoring their own warranty. Shame on Kalorik and their new owners "The Legacy Companies". I was willing to overlook these shortcomings and adapt to the unit's operation as designed but the lack of a willingness to support the failed part (light bulb) with a replacement was, to us, an indication of a difficult warranty claims process in the future should a problem arise.

Bought it to replace my Instant air fryer which I hated so much. This air fryer from Kalorik is a wonderful little gem. The first thing that sets it apart is the French door design. Gone are the days of trying to fish out all the crumbs wedged in between the window and the frame of those fold down doors. The French door design eliminates the accumulation of crumbs while taking food in and out of the fryer. Furthermore, the dimensions of this fryer are perfect; it's the Goldielocks of sizes. My previous fryer was a monstrosity and made my kitchen look crowded. This fryer not only looks like it belongs in my kitchen it adds an aesthetic component with its sleek and modern design. I love the touchscreen function and the multiple capabilities on tap. One thing I noticed is that the dial has a notch in it which doesn't make any sense with how it is used but that's a minor detail that can be easily overlooked. So far I've cooked pizza, toasted bread, air fried hashbrowns, baked salmon and they've all came out great. One suggestion would be to lower the default toasting time as 5 min is too long for toast. It usually ends up burnt if you use the default time for toast, but a flick of the dial and problem solved. My only gripe would be the fully open position of the doors. For the doors to stay open you would have to open them all the way out, way past the size of the box, so you wouldn't be able to keep this next to a wall. That being said, I am happy with my new air fryer and feel that I have upgraded in both form and function.
