First impression, I am very satisfied at this time with this Baritone Ukulele. It is a nice ukulele for the price, it sounds good, and I like it. It came with the strap button on the bottom and it has fret markers on the side. It has a deep sound and does not sound like a tin can, The tuners turn easy and stay put. The media could not be loaded. I originally bought this with the intention to someday buy a more expensive baritone one day, but I don't see that happening for a long time. This ukulele sounds great, and I don't see a need to purchase anything more expensive! I've also included a recording I did of Waltz by Ferdinando Carulli, a simple arrangement, but this ukulele helps it sound great. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It doesn't have a bad sound, but I expected more from the solid mahogany top. Sound projection and volume could be better. Instrument of great quality, details and perfect assembly, but for a little more money you can buy something that sounds a little louder. How could I give this (standalone) baritone uke a 5 star rating when I also gave the Lohanu baritone uke (package) a 5 star rating? Simple: This instrument sounds like a high quality acoustic guitar would sound without strings 5&6. As I reviewed the Lohanu, if you want a great value (uke, case, tuner, other stuff), and you're not sure about playing a baritone uke, you can't beat the Lohanu package. But if you're an old acoustic guitar player who can't fret all 6 strings any longer, the richness of sound from this instrument is a joy. I gave the Lohanu to my kids and kept the tuner and case for my Kala. ... show more

    • Sloppy quality control!
I am appalled at the quality control for this Ukelele. The sound hole has a huge crack in the finish which should have been caught. My son is so excited so doesn’t want to wait for a replacement but this is just nonsense for such a relatively higher quality ukelele.
