The comfort of this boot is fine and it looks nice. I started wearing these in Sept and do wear them 5 days a week. I wear them for work but do not feel I am very hard on them. They never get wet and get no chemicals on themat all. I work in maintenance at a school district and the environment is nit harsh.The black part started cracking and peeling a couple months ago and not the inside lining has completely come apart to the point I can not get my feet in them anymore. My last 2 sets of boots were Redwings and approximately the same price. The Redwings lasted about 3 years or more and I actually still wear them when I paint to keep the paint off of these. I will be going back to Redwings from now on. ... show more

My husband can be easily mistaken for a Bigfoot just by his footprint. His large ugly Monkey feet are the most expensive part of his wardrobe. Finding boots to fit are an adventure in itself. This man is very picky about the fit of this boots. He loves the fit and support of these boots. Then once we find some that fit he wears them out in the next month by crawling On the shop floor and walking around like a bull rider with broken knees. These have lasted for a lot longer than others. Recommended them to his father who walks bow legged and wears the outside of the sole And he loves them. Buy them!!! ... show more
