Mandy Harvey is a singer who lost her hearing due to a medical condition. I recently saw a video of her singing in America's Got Talent. I connected to her story of loss at such a deeply personal level, and the song was absolutely beautiful and uplifting to me. I enjoyed it so much I ordered this ukulele from her. It's beautiful, and I love it and the message it carries. I didn’t want to write a review until I had it for a while. I’ve had it since February so the stings are now well acclimated and it’s my favorite ukulele. Total beginner, and I'm really enjoying learning to play this ukulele. I've started taking it with me all over the place so that I can practice during spare moments, and my one complaint is that the included bag is a bit too light for my tastes, but I feel that I've gotten a good bargain regardless (it's holding up well and does a good job of protecting from dust, little bumps, etc). ... show more

Why did I wait so long to learn? This ukulele is elegant and so easy to tune with the included clip on devise. I’m playing along with songs after no time at all and loving the tone! Love the artwork on this Try design!!!

My grandaughter was playing this beautifully crafted instrument in a day or two. Got it on 8/28 and was playing songs and singing on Thanksgiving for the whole family. She is twelve. We all joined in and my family are all musical so you know she was good! So nice and easy to carry around too.

    • Physical beauty with an okay sound
This is truly a beautiful looking instrument. I was so excited to see it from the box and had high hopes for my first tenor Uke. Unfortunately the sound is sharper with a much lower resonance than my concert uke from Donner. I’m not sure if it’s the strings, which are rigid to strum our the body because of the white, plastic edging. It’s so pretty, but goes flat rather quickly and there are much better sounding ukes for way less money. ... show more
